I agree, between Long Beach and LA Harbor I don't think there is a port in the world that handles more cargo. If not, its one of the top two or three in the entire world. The amount of cargo coming and going is tremendous.

Here's a pic of just the LA Harbor, the Long Beach Harbor would continue off to the right ... the Vincent Thomas Bridge is rather strategic and could block a lot of commerce from continueing in the harbor.

But since we now know it's just Gray out Davis grandstanding again, so what ....?
