Of course our wonderful Governor Davis says the bridges will still be open just heavily guarded. Duh!

LOL, I am confident that you wont be seeing a team of crack mid easterners climbing around the Golden Gate with high explosives.

Now flying a 757 into the Golden Gate may back up traffic for a few hours. LOL

Yeah, but the fbi stated tonight that it wasn't a credible threat and Davis wasn't supposed to spill the beans on what they said was a rumor.

I live by tons of bridges here in Fla. It bothers me that the highway patrol in CA is going to be "on" the bridge. What good is that going to do? People again have been told to go about their daily lives and use the bridges. Nuh-uh, not me.

Did they forget that these are suicidal bombers who will probably ram through any checkpoints or maybe they'll show up by boat like with the Cole. And, if they change their appearance and don't get profiled, they're on the bridge. Or, I'm thinking it will be a bridge but somewhere else.

I would think any bridge would suffice , as a secondary target . I'm thinking of the 1 over in Benicia , The Benicia Bridge . At least that's always been what I called it when we lived out there . A spot not so majestic perhaps , but still ..
