Ditto here.

We need our own source of oil and natural gas, it is time we started drilling, which would include off shore drilling.

I for one am tired of having to kiss the a$$ of the oil producing countries. Let them eat their oil.

While our gas tax is lower than PA, our gas prices are about the same, because self-serve gas is illegal in NJ. That's right, the state legislature thinks that the people in the state with the highest median income are too stupid to pump their own gas.

$1.05.9 down in monmouth county. BTW, Have you ever heard of anyone actually given a summons for this asinine law. I pump my own all the time, the only time I was prevented was by some 20 year old with law emforcement aspirations.

On the subject of gas prices, if you're planning a road trip try out www.freetrip.com online trip planner. It shows gas prices along your route. It's usually a little behind on current prices but it gives you a fairly good estimate. I used this last summer for a 1000 mile trip and it helped me estimate fuel costs.

P.S. Why is gas always cheaper in Kentucky?
