Aren't those children at risk of being caught by the zero tolerance PC police for drawing weapons and violent scenes? This is off-topic but your post reminded me of a funny story about my young cousin. His ultra-PC parents wouldn't let him have any toy guns, soldiers, or anything military when he was growing up. In fact, I gave him a battleship model to put together for Christmas one year and they almost had a nervous breakdown.
Well, guess where he is today? HE'S SERVING ON THE FLIGHT DECK OF THE USS ROOSEVELT aircraft carrier!
I guess he showed them, LOL!

These are the most touching pictures. Thanks, HLL for posting them!

Any way we can get some letters or pictures to add to our package?I will bring the subject up with the three teachers that I work with tomorrow and see if they might offer to let their students draw pictures for the troups. I'll let you know what they say. It's a great idea!

What wonderful letters these will be for our servicemen and women! Thanks for the post. With a MAJOR whine in my voice...the pictures aren't showing!!! I've hit the refresh button a couple of times and no pictures. Again, thanks for the thread!

The new FR Format is kind of tricky. Try going to post 1-50 and reload. If that doesn't work, Rondog posted them on today's USO.
To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
I DID hit reload....the first time around. Now that you put your magic fingers to the keyboard, and I did it again...it WORKED!!!! :-)
HOW PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

This is a "Please put me on the Hugh Hewitt" ping list bump!

Thanks for the ping-headsup! I love this kind of stuff! Good for these kids! And good for the teacher(s) or parents who encouraged the kids to make these drawings!

These kids are something special. Geniuses, all of them.
Thank you very much for a very special post.
And thank you, Ron Dog, for pinging me here cause I would have missed this and it made my day!

These are so wonderful, HLL! Thanks for scanning and posting them. I can work on getting some for the Christmas box from more school kids here in CA (I wonder if they know how to draw M-16's, LOL!). Loved the 2 praying by the cross. CC :)
To: RonDog

Really precious! I'm sure it brings a big smile to our troops.
