HLL, these are the sweetest drawings and letters. Don't you know those men are going to get misty-eyed when they see them. I'm glad you reproduced them for us to see. What you're doing, in taking care of purchasing the staples & "luxury" items (yeah! like toothbrushes, etc), and collecting, packaging, and mailing them overseas for the rest of us is just the most wonderful thing. I hope you know how much we appreciate it.

Partisanship dressed up as patriotism!! Really low. Of course, now that McCain (a member of "the President's own party") has started his blabbing, the tide will only increase. But if these guys want to keep underestimating W, let them go right ahead. While they're in front of the TV cameras giving their speeches and diatribes, the President is either conducting a war; working on the economy and other domestic issues; or is out there among the people, charming the clothes off of them. Will his critics never learn?!
Thanks for the ping.

It breaks my heart a little, though...to look at them. The firefighter and the marine are smiling.
To: 2Jedismom
It's great that the marine and fireman are smiling. It means that you have very happy children. They think that everyone is happy, and they should think that everyone is happy.
