Yeah I was 9 during that time of hell. I remember that my teacher was eccstatic when he won, I remember telling her that he was evil. I know the school ran a mock election and Bush Sr. won. Now in my high school the school was over run by commies; both students and teachers, very scary.
I thank God everyday that I am out of that school. It has nearly 4000 students enrolled, suburb of Chicago, and they are brainwashing these students, the school newspaper had anti-Bush propaganda during the whole school year. They screamed bloody murder that the election was stolen. I stood up and laughed in their faces when Bush won. It was great, I gloated to my liberal history teacher that I was invited to attend the inaguration.
Most would imagine that a college would be more liberal, but my college is not nearly as bad as my high school was. My English Professor claims to be liberal but the thing is she is Pro-Life and supports Bush. Odd but I think she is just mislead.
For all you Teen FReepers, keep true to conservativism and don't let those liberals get to ya. They are a punch of pervert nutcases who need serious help. Arguing with liberals, especially teachers is great, although don't get them angry enough to fail you.

That is that island off of Spain right? I have heard the stories. Friends were supposed to be there for two days, they stayed for 2 weeks and blew off the rest of their trip.

I remember being young and conservative. All the world seemed to be communist. Come to think of it, it still does.

That is that island off of Spain right?Right. Some people who visited, believe it or not, have put of the rest of their lives and now live there. I figure they average about 8 hours of sleep per year.

Actually the beaches, from what I have seen and heard, are quite beautiful. However, most of the people there aren't capable of paying attention to them, IYKWIM.

You are lucky to have figured it out at such a young age.
I was actually a die-hard liberal supporter until I was about 17. I remember supporting Dukakis in '88 because I thought that his eyebrows were cool. Keep in mind that I was only 9 then.
4 years later, I was way into Clinton, despite what my parents had told me about him. I even played Clinton in the middle school mock debate. I also went to the polling place on election day with a sign supporting Clinton and Barbara Mikulski.
Then I think one day it just clicked and I did some research and discovered that all of my politics were conservative. I didn't even know that Clinton was anti-abortion, pro-taxes, etc. So I guess in reality I was a conservative all along, I was just too dumb to know it.
