Defeat the Left in New Jersey and Virginia!!!
Me | Today | A Fighting Conservative

Posted on 10/27/2001 10:25:01 AM PDT by kanaell

This is any of y'all in New Jersey and Virginia. After being here for so long I know y'all (except for a merciful few) are intelligent people ... which is probably why y'all are Freepers. Now I'll stop kissing ass and get to the point. Victories for the Democrats in the two races this year would be seriously damaging to our President. Therefore this is the absolute wrong time for complacency.

So I'm asking y'all to use your intelligence and creativity and come up with a Top X List To Vote For Bret Schundler / Top X List To Vote For Mark Earley for your neighborhoods. 'X' is any number (preferably above five but even one would do) you can come up with. Focus on the important stuff, (i.e. Taxes, Education, Car Insurance, Crime, Emergency Management, Parkway Tolls (NJ), State Spending, Gun Control (VA especially), Partial Birth Abortion, Parental Consent, etc. As an alternative, you can instead write up refutations of the lies being spewed in the Democrat (Warner and McGreevey) ads on the airwaves.

Try to make your list as detailed, as informative but as short and plain-spoken as possible. If you can support your reasons with quotes, stats, historical trends, etc. please do so. You can find these at the websites of the Milton Friedman Foundation, Heritage Foundation, Mackinac Policy Center, American Legislative Exchange Council, etc. Also do not forget to taut your candidate's record where possible. For NJ Freepers go here and here. For VA Freepers go here.

Next, please remember to fax the Campaign headquarters your list with your name and e-mail/number and phone them to make sure they have no qualms with what you've written. As soon as you get permission proceed to spread your list as widely and as effectively as possible. Print and photocopy as many as you can into leaflets/posters. Do NOT, under any circumstances have anything put in mailboxes ... if need be, leave your leaflet on a doorstep. If your child has a newsround, give him the leaflets to deliver with the paper, etc.

The numbers (Phone/Fax) for the Schundler Campaign are:
(973) 325-9700 / (973) 325-2239.

The numbers (Phone/Fax) for the Earley Campaign are:
(804) 440-2001 / (804) 440-2010 [Richmond]
(757) 482-3100 / (757) 482-3118 [Chesapeake]
(703) 388-0800 / (703) 388-0821 [Springfield]

This is important. If you allow the Left to win these elections because of your jobs, you'll soon lose your jobs as they implement their pro-socialist nanny state policies. So you're NOT too busy to do this. It'll only take a few hours of your time.

Good luck and God bless. See y'all at the finish line.

Good work. We haven't heard much in the way of politics from the national liberals, but you can bet your ballot that if we lose these races they'll be out in force come Wednesday morning telling us how extreem the GOP is.

You can bet the left is busy tampering with the voting machines. Loading up the votes long before the machines actually reach the polling booth.

He doesn't think so. He hasn't fulfilled his promise to help campaign for either candidate, so he must not be worried.

I live in Virginia. The candidates for governor are 2 of the most unattractive, big government loving liars I have ever seen, and I have been through many election cycles. Where and how do they come with such sleaze disguised as "statesmen". And don't give me the Republican = conservative line. That has been a worn out crock for many years now, and won't fly with me.

I agree. That's why he should get his @ss down to Virginia and campaign for Earley. Sorry I just had to get that in.

I think these are some of the issues we should use against the democraps.

Dasshole and Leahy slowing down Bush's judicial nominations.

The democrap controlled senate hasn't passed the Delay ammendment to protect our troops from the ICC. This is after Gore tried to throw out their votes in the 2000 election.

Democraps have been protesting Bush, the Supreme Court and probably Katherine Harris too. I know they have petitions out there for impeachment or just bringing crminal charges against them. I think a Soreloserman 2001 campaign would be a good idea in Virginia.

I live in Virginia too. Mark Earley may be many things, but I know from personal experience that "sleaze" is not one of his characteristics.

I also live in Virginia and I'm still going to vote for Mark Earley. However, WHAT IS UP WITH THESE REPUBLICANS ENDORSING MARK WARNER?? First a former governor and then a delegate in the house?? How freaking annoying is that??

Thanks for your enthusiasm. My neighborhood is covered (I'm in arguably the most Republican county in the state).

Not to rain on your parade, but it may be just as helpful at this point just to conact the campaigns first and help get our their coordinated message.

I got a lit drop today that features pictures of Earley with Bush and a quote of support from Bush. I know that, even though he probably isn't coming, the campaign is working to make that connection in the last few days.

It's true though, Bush definitely has to get his ass over to Virginia and New Jersey and forget about this "bipartisanship" BS. The Media's definition of "bipartisan" means Republicans and only Republicans compromising while the Democrats prepare the country for a Castro presidency.

It's time for Bush to spend some of that political capital and screw the "bipartisanship" BS. It should have struck him when Daschle spat in his face regarding his Judicial nominations.

The Bush White House is a horrible disappointment. Typical of these politicians is that they only think of themselves and not the cause.

He should be breaking his pick trying to help in Jersey and Virginia. It makes you wonder if his stupid staff is trying to keep him from electing two solid conservatives as Governors because they don't want any pressure from the right.

Look at what they are doing in California in helping Dick Riordan, who is not only liberal, but one of the biggest contributors to liberal Democrats and labor causes. Check out today's LA Times.

Dashole is winning on domesttic issues ( Judges, ANWR,etc).
And the war is being run by Powell and the state Dept
It's time for the Defense Dept to run the War.

That's what I have been afraid of.

I was starting to think that he had a little more backbone and was more conservative, but his political conduct of late is certainly reminiscent of the previous Bush Administration.

I hope it is not too much to expect a Republican President to help get Republican conservatives elected!

And don't give me the Republican = conservative line

There are only two games in the USA. The Democrats and the Republicans. If you don't like either, pick one, get into it and work to change it.The directions our parties take are determined by who gets involved in them.

People like you sit on your fat butt, while those you dislike get out and work to take over the parties.

If you want to see the problem, go look in a mirror. But you won't likely do that. You would have to get off you duff to do something. And doing something other than complain is against your religion.
