Good Morning! from a cooooooool (33 degrees) NC. I heard a local newsreader urge us to set our clocks FORWARD tonight! LOL!!!!!!!!! Proof positive that he and others like him are a few points short of being called "genius". Let's say it out loud: He's so BACKWARD. (His advice is bass-ackards.)
Some country ham, red-eye gravy and grits (HA) to go with the scrambled eggs would taste mighty good this cool morning. Any takers? I've got the ingredients handy "rite now" (Southern talk for "immediately"......LOL).

I sure will have some of your Southern breakfast. Love to have some grits and scrambled eggs. If there are any grits left over, I will make us a grits/cheese baked casserole for lunch. And don't forget the Southern style biscuits. Can have with gravy or I like mine hot with butter and homemade jam.

there was a time i thought grits might be funny...
but that was before spending a winter in bowling green ky... i am still
wanted on three felony counts of refusing grits with breakfast in kentucky.
"oh, hon, ya sure ya don't want some grits with them eggs?" "oh, no thanks, ma'am."
big mistake. these folks take their grits seriously...
but i'll take you up on the country ham and red-eye gravy.
yum. oh, and over easy on the eggs, black coffee. thank you kindly, carolinamom.
...a breakfast bump for our armed forces

Oh, Lord - I'd hate to move the clock FORWARD another time before we get to put it back where it BELONGS! I HATE DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME! I wish they'd just leave our clocks alone! Who needs the sun shining at 9 o'clock at night, pray tell? I used to think Arizona was "smart" by not observing Daylight Savings Time until I learned that they really "do" - they just move to Pacific Time during the months we have the Daylight Savings - they're doing the exact same thing as "observing" Daylight Savings, but instead change the difference between their time and the other three U.S. zones by an hour. Smart? :^)
