USO Canteen Freeper Style

War has come to our shores. It was committed on American soil.  We have been able to live in Freedom only because of those who have fought in the past wars giving life, limb and all the sacrifices for us to live in Freedom and go about our day without fear.

On September 11, 2001, that comfort, that feeling of living in a land that would not be attacked ended.

William T. Sherman said it succinctly, "War is hell."

The day has come for this Nation and its people to understand that there is a risk in losing its freedom, and in reality there always has been. We have ONLY stayed free because of the sacrifices of our military, our warriors.

This is about saving the future of America. Aristotle said, "We make war that we may live in peace."

We are seeing the American Flag flying at homes now more than ever in my lifetime. We are seeing the American Flag flying on vehicles and people wearing Flag pins and small Flags on their clothes. America is united in the cause for Freedom and for our country to WIN against the evil that came upon our land to kill and hurt us. To change our way of life and to destroy America which is US, you and me. To take away our precious Freedom.

This is the Freeper version of the USO Canteen. Where soldiers could come and feel a small part of being at home. It is a place where you that have family in the military can post a thought to a loved one that might be able to read it far away from home. A place where we that support our military can help support them, post to them, fun graphics showing the price in America and our troops. Poems, quotes, cartoons, or articles of how America is behind our troops.

Those in our military are our Nation's warriors. Let us join hands, fly our Flag and let the world know how important our warriors are to us....And that our MILITARY, our Warriors, are America's TRUE HEROS!

I sure will have one. There is a place my husband and I go to , it is a fifties place. Hamburgers sodas, milk shakes etc. Music from the 50's and that is where I will have my first one. We are going there Sunday ( tomorrow ) I can hardly wait.

Always beforee I had a chocolate milkshake but this time it is going to be the banana split.

Have you noticed how courageous the lone Freepers have been in Boston, of all places? In all cases the public has sided with the Freepers for America and our troops! We'll educate the press, yet (or go to plan B).

RC, I've noticed that, too! You would think the "Silent Majority" would learn,,,, sooner or later. It is so disheartening,,,,, they're with us, but they won't speak up. It's always been that way out here,,,, if you ask someone why they don't speak up,,,, they always say, "Well, you're doing such a good job,,,, yadda, yadda, yadda". It is very frustrating,,, my heart is with the Boston freepers.

I would like to thank Jim Robinson for having a banner of the USO Canteen FReeper Style on the Front page of FRee Republic. It is truly an honor to be there and very much appreciated.

Also the Canteen is for each of you and the troops ,the veterans here at FR,the families of those serving now. A place to have fun, post graphics, jokes , supportive things for our veterans and troops. All the cyber food and goodies you can eat.

The feel of the FReeper Canteen is of a time when men and women joined together as one to support America and the fight for our Freedoms against those wanting to take it away.
The time was WW11 and now we are seeing this again. Flags flying on cars, motorcycles, homes. God Bless America on signs and billboards like it has never been seen before.

One Nation under God, and one united force backing our troops and President to win this battle against evil.

There are various FReeps going on across America, Fresno, Washington D.C. etc.,FReepers taking once again a stand for FReedom and our Constitution. Join them if you possibly can ,I promise you it will be an experience you will treasure for the rest of your life.

We are the FReepers , the homeland warriors and Patriots. United we are a force that cannot be ignored.

I thank God for each one of you ,thank you for touching my life in such a precious way.

Jim, I also want to thank you for adding our banner to the FR Home Page. It feels good there! Do so appreciate you and your family for keeping FR available for us to come together and share so much.
