Nope, don't think so...sidebar moderator???lol
Jim Robinson - what can I say - FreeRepublic is the best thing to come along since sliced bread (it's late, that the best I can do.) But, I was following the threads that were posted this evening that may have prompted your thread and have a suggestion: In this very sensitive time we are all enduring, perhaps only "breaking news" that can be verified through a journalistic source should be posted?
Although it can be exciting to hear of incidents such as tonight's at the Phoenix airport as they unfold, and undoubtedly Marine Inspector was caught up in the "heat of the moment" and may not have used the best judgment, perhaps, for the time being, FReepers should be notified (by you and the staff) that these types of posts will be pulled. I have read some of the "loose lips sink ships" threads and don't recall this particular issue being addressed. If it has and I missed it, just ignore this post and have a great evening!
ROTFL!!!
...and while we are on the subject of the thread police, ("There always several sides to any story Hey Jim...do you mean there are"?!!) I get really sick and tired of reading know-it-all, grammar/spelling-correcting posts! Read the posts and consider the thoughts that went into them. My father is a brilliant thinker, but not a wonderful speller. This does not make him stupid...it means he has strengths in other areas. Every time I read a post where one person is correcting another (on spelling, grammar, placement of post) I am reminded how shallow some people can be.
Let's have some intelligent discussion, and stop flaming people about minutia, please.
