President Bush visited Thurgood Marshall Extended Elementary in DC today and announced the formation of the 'Friendship Through Education' program designed to link students from the U.S. with students from schools overseas with Muslim students. He also continued to comfort children by assuring them that they have voices and can make a difference in this war on terrorism. While Dubya was making the kids laugh, his mom was in Omaha, NE making an audience do the same thing as she shared stories about her family. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!
Thanks to lawgirl for filling in last night while RWP shopped til she dropped!

Thanks for the chance to tell President Bush what a great job I think he is doing.

There is no bigger fan of W than I.
So don't get me wrong, but I worry about W and Cheney.
I don't think W has been himself since returning from Shanghai.
He seems pale and to have refound his uuhhhhhhs and
uhhhhhmmms between his statments.
I worry that the idiotic portrayal of his message
to shop and travel to support the economy,
but be vigilant to watch for attacks
as a "mixed message" to be criticized as confusing.
Well, Maureen Dowd and Sam Donaldsan are easily
confused but I wonder if it has thrown off his clarity of purpose.
I think Cheney is a changed man since I first
saw him after the 11th.
He has that thousand yard stare,
he has put on a few pounds,
his speeches are delivered dull unlike the Republican
Convention speech and has constantly is clearing his throat.
Along with the divisive spin of the media to chop down
anyone with high approval ratings I am worried more
about those two heroes much more than I am about flying or
licking envelopes.
I would like to know what is really happening in the White House.
I would like the left wing media and pundants to back
off.
P.S. If Powell wasn't such an egomaniac who
believed his own press clippings,
he would be the clear communicator who would be a great go to guy of
this campaign and be the hero of this war like Iraq.
The great James Baker was awe inspiring during
Iraq and was utilized by Bush for the most
important momemts but Powell's ego has ruined this
opportunity for himself because he is disloyal to W and
can't be trusted.
Sorry to sound negative.
I love W as my greatest role model and President
and America and this wonderfully generous posting
by RINTENSE which is the hight of my every day.

I love that guy. He is cut from the same cloth as Jim Baker. Strong men, tough men, America may be getting over that feminism crap!! It me took 32 years to find my husband, someone who wasn't a wimp!!

"...this entire administration makes hollowood's insipid but elegantly cast "West Wing" look like a Funhouse of Uglies."
President Bush and his administration *are* an attractive bunch, and each person fits his or her "part" perfectly. Especially Rummy! I've always thought that Central Casting couldn't have done a better job of picking Rummy! :-)
Another wonderful Daily Dose...I will have pleasant dreams now! Sigh...

Hey hillsboro, it just dawned on me that you might be from Texas. My grandmother lived for many many years in Waxahachie before she died last year.

We have Chevy's here in California too! I love their tortillas don't you? Mmmm! Yummy. I have never heard of the stores you went shopping in though, at least I don't think I have, although I am not sure what the initials stand for in the first store you mentioned!
I too have been doing my patriotic duty, only most of mine has been done at local nurseries buying plants for my yard! I am a fanatic gardener! (but I am helping the economy, honest!)
Thanks dear for the posting tonight! Goodies as always.

OK..........before I got completely distracted by lawgirl's picture.............
I was going to say that this is a couple who don't just love each other, but they are madly in love, and they need some serious alone time that they're not getting enough of these days!!

Great photos of our wonderful President Bush. Thank you sooooooooooo much.
To: Batman94
Hey Batman. Don't apologize for being honest. Everyone here at FR is also concerned about the President and VP. We'd be fooling ourselves if we thought they are not targets. All we can do is pray that they remain safe and have faith in a Higher plan.

Well Texas welcomes you, any way we can get you.
To: ohioWfan
I think, from the look on W's face in #1, that he had a nice "welcome home" last night.
To: ohioWfan
Yikes. I think where I am is the windy city. My power keeps going on an off. I'm lucky to be typing right now.
