The caption said they were in a refugee camp-- by definition, then, they've run far away from the Taleban. I'm glad to see them getting the food because I'm sure they need it, but I'm also quite certain that the international aid organizations have overblown the starvation to be expected this winter just to get us to stop the war. I agree that these kids don't look like the kids dying of starvation in Africa.

I am so impressed with GW. I read a book by Marvin Olasky, Compassionate Conservatism, which explains a real Christian socio-political ideology. The Great Jacques Maritain called it Christian Humanism. GW is heavy into this. It really brings the gospel to the streets, so to speak.

I think they should have skipped the salt, pepper, and moist towlette and put more food in there. At any rate it's nice to see my tax dollars going to something usefull. I hope this gets the message accross to the innocent Afghanis (and those Americans who clearly need the lesson): you are not our enemy.

Yeah, I thank the Good Lord each day that we have a real Christian President. He isn't perfect, but he seems wonderfully sincere and I pray he will always seek the Kingdom first. I will have to check out that Olasky book. Sounds like a good read. Keep praying!

The day they allow christians to come in with bible and food I will help them..but dont hold your breath because they would rather see their kids dead than infidel Jews or Christians

You must hate Harry Truman,not only didnt he do food drops on Japan he nuked the kids..of course the fact he saved American lives means nothing right?

So let GOD handle His enemies as He sees fit. You are a Christian. It is a Christian's job to have compassion and to love, feed, and pray for our enemies whether we like it or not. You will never find a place in God's Word that tells us to take His role into our hands. That you do not trust God to handle this situation using the governments He has divinely appointed is very sad. I will continue praying--for you AND the Afghanis.
