I lucked out. My in-laws called me at 11:30pm Sunday and said they were able to get tickets online. Either I'm the luckiest D-Backs Fan alive, or the Good Lord wants to call me home! :-)

I've been preaching to everyone not to succumb to fear, so I'm not going to. Osama can kiss my royal Finnish ass... I'm going to see Curt Schilling pour some desert heat on the Yanks!

P.S. Schilling's a fellow Shadow Mtn. HS grad -- my school. Wish I had befriended him back then!

Joel God Bless you! I believe if we want to avert terrorists we have to arm up like Red Dawn and each of us patrol a certain area and report to authorities! We know how effective John Walsh has been.

After I read the two news articles, I realised you even offering to go to the mountains is heroism! I'd do it if it were in Chicago

Shoot, I was part of a CB Patrol for years and in a gang infested area of the worse gangs in the city. It was a whole new form of terrorism, we were chased with them running after our cars with weapons, just for being the 'eyes' of the community. It was even worse when we'd make court appearances as witnesses against them. but we did.

I liken your cause to this, your volunteering and/or actually going, well buddy....
