Taliban soldiers are visiting residential neighborhoods, ordering people to report to armories to pick up weapons to fight the Americans, the agency said.
This is always a good sign, your morale is so high that you find it necessary to "recruit" replacement drones...err...Taliban soldiers.
Here's a clue...want to bet that some regular Taliban soldiers are stationed behind this new MILITIA? You know just in case the MILITIA doesn't know where to point their rifles...

We can make them kill each other.Haven't they BEEN doing that for some time?

An excuse a liberal would love: to "restore peace"...
"The Taliban disarmed the Afghan population soon after seizing power in 1996 in attempt to restore peace in the war-ravaged country."

If the Taliban's morale is higher than ever, it's because they know that they are finally going to get their 37 virgins!!!!!!!!!!! More power to them! I thought it was 73 virgins!!!! Has there been a cut back?

Only 37? I thought they were promised 72?
I don't understand the 72 virgin "thing".
What does a martyred muslim do in paradise on the 73rd day?
Once he "enjoys" a virgin, she is no longer a virgin....I guess eternity begins on day 73...... :o

Re-arming the remaining civilians could prove to be the stupidest thing these extremely stupid people called the Taliban have ever done. All the civilians have to do is to turn around....and BOOM!

Taliban disarmed Afghans. Look what gun control did for the Afghans. They should use those guns on the Taliban

Note also their threats "to execute anyone helping the United States". This is pretty good evidence that more than a few Afghans have been spilling their guts to the infidels! They wouldn't be so worked up about this if they hadn't already suffered losses because of it.

The smartest move that these new "recruits" could do would be to turn those guns immediately on those that took them away in the first place and are now responsible for their homeland being attacked.

Somehow I don't think any of these detainees are being held on "expired visa" charges...
Where's the EU outrage about these executions? Members of the EU were refusing to turn over suspects to the US if there was the possibility that those suspects could be facing the death penalty.

Ok now, since they have armed whoever did not flee, and order them to fight the americans, does that means zero civilian casualties and zero collateral damage from now on?

I don't know that Taliban's "morale" is high as much as they are seeking death and willing, apparently, to take the entire population of Afghanistan with them. Don't think surrender is likely.

Sure sounds that way to me. Nothing like having the enemy eliminate one problem for us - no more civilian deaths via no civilians.
