Can one sense the pious mock empathy of the writer? Reaching out to the unwashed masses. Of course they would boo Hillary the Queen because they are so ignorant, steeped in their own biases. They just don't know any better, the poor dears.

Of course, underlaying this false empathy is the vicious hatred harbored by the writer. He tries to use cynicism, sarcasm and labors hard to appear wry. Instead, he is a vicious fascist underneath who truly despises the working class that he is supposed to champion.

Notice how he says, "the forward thinkers", because, to him, all communists/socialists are "forward thinkers". This, of course, is why they define themselves as "progressives".

Yet, they truly aren't. Since they deem themselves so much smarter and worldlier than the rest of us, and since they deem us incapable of living our own lives productively, we should just give up and let the more intelligent, the more progressive rule.

Whenever someone brings up this "progressive," "forward thinker" nonsense, ask them what it is exactly that they are progressing towards? It elicits blank stares normally. No matter how you slice it they are progressing towards socialism.
