Oh, indeed it will, sir. The policy change will be marked by a squadron of Apaches opening up with Vulcan cannons on any rioting mob within the zone of interest for all of our bases. Half of Pakistan will suddenly belong to the U.S. military, and the other half will be mercilessly attacked by India. The nuclear command, control and launch facilities throughout Pakistan will be simultaneously evaporated, and the "Islamic Bomb" will be reduced to an unpleasant close-call memory. China will freak, but since they can't float a blue water navy, will do little else. Russia will begin salivating at the prospect of supplanting the Middle East as a primary source of U.S. oil supplies (and God bless them Orthodox Christians, they could use the economic lift). All-in-all, not an altogether unpleasant change of policy, Ahmed.
Day #1)-On Sept. 11, 2001, four Airliners that were airborne, were sucessfully stolen, (I don't use hi-jacked anymore) and turned into Guided-Missles by the Enemies of our Country, whose purpose was to guide these flying-bombs into high-value targets, so-as to cripple the American Financial, Military, and Governmental Systems, and wreak havoc upon us. I believe the plan was to travel West, and attack many other Cities and structures, furthering the damage, through each time zone, until West Coast Cities were under attack, by our own aircraft, guided by similar kamikazie warriors!
What went wrong??
Well, the FAA shut-down the entire ATC system in the USA, and re-directed all International flights to other Countries, no ifs-ands-or-buts, and ordered all Domestic flights to the nearest Airports NOW!
There are several ways to close-down the ATC system in a hurry, but the most immediate is when an Airliner-Pilot sets his transponder on '7700', which means: 'We're being Hi-jacked', or '0000', which means: "Incoming-Ballistic-Warhead Sighted"!
We may learn later, just exactly what happenned, but the first failure, was in not understanding the USA, ATC system. I've been a Pilot since 1970, and I wanted - needed to understand the system. These enemy-flyers only wanted to learn to guide giant planes into buildings.
What was their flaw?? They didn't read the fucking book!!
Day #2.)-Well, apparently the FBI had been keeping-track of the bombers, and about 280 were arrested, and had their balls beaten-flat, and they gave-up another 300 people, and today, we've got about 1000 under arrest.
Day #3.)-I figure that there are maybe 3 or 4 cells left, with the balls to try Anthrax - the rest are trying to get-the-hell outa Dodge.
Day #4.)-Israel is gonna drive the Arrafat-Pig out of Palestine, and the Palestinians will kill him, finally!
Guy, the attack failed, because they thought we were klintoon-people! Now we're gonna kill ALL the people that attacked us, and we won't stop until they're either dead or Christian. The problem with his thought is this, by taking out the big cities, the feds, the communist media, and the currecnt left wing US government, what is left is about 60 million very upset and armed citizens. And amongst them some 3.5 million heavily armed extreme right wingers who would reestablish a Republican Constitutional government. A government with guts, a grudge and the largest nulear arsenal in the world.
The terorist are safer dealing with the courrent government and it's lackies in the press.

Had their plan worked, our economy would be crashed, and we would be out of any conventional war.
Feel free to write your own scenario. Mine seems to work for me, remembering that they thought they could achieve their Military Objective of solving the 'Occupied Territoties' problem. They didn't just plan to knock down three buildings and yell: 'yippee'.

That was then - this is now - I'm a genuine, certified, U.S. citizen now, and damned glad of it! That one Lancaster that we had is now on a pedestal in Jackson Park in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, the CF-86s are probably Labatts cans.
