Something about that last photo doesn't look right. The building looks too small to be one of the twin towers, and the exterior is not the same either.

I agree. When you look at pics above, note the 3-d "columns" that stick out...

Wrong... it is an image of one of the towers, a detail from this picture right here. You can see that it is indeed the same facade. Perspective can do funny things to perceptions.

No, it's right. The Towers always looked that way from certain angles. It's just the way the outer skin of the buildings was designed.
