Good luck. I've been trying to find some of these "censored photos" and "censored videos" ever since 9/11, and haven't been able to come up with anything at all. Well, there is this one VERY disturbing photo, but since it was published in the New York Daily News, we can hardly call it "suppressed."

I know what you mean. I've been a pro-gun warrior on the gun-control discussion forums for many years, and sometimes when nothing else works to pound some reality into an anti-gunner's head, a stark dose of real-life in the form of uncensored photos of car accidents and various forms of non-gun suicide often works wonders.

Uncensored photos of the carnage of 9/11 would be even more valuable as a "reality check" for many of the ivory-tower peaceniks who even now still can't quite seem to grasp the nature of what really happened. To them, it's all one big batch of movie special effects.

I don't think any of these pictures are censored. I collected them from various news sites. They are all wire service photos I think.

None are particularly grisly, if that is what you are looking for.

I had actually looked for the same thing (body pieces etc) for a poster or something - for similar reasons. People are already forgetting what this is all about and some folks, frankly, need to have their noses rubbed in the strongest images available. I tried a couple Internet searches in Dutch and Norwegian but didn't get anything. (It sounds like Spanish may yield more) In the end, though, I found that the images of falling people and Arab celebrations were both obscene enough for me.

The first day and night, the Spanish-speaking stations were showing the REAL footage, the people jumping, EVERYTHING. The network is <a href="http://www.univision.com>UniVision</a> I could kick myself for not taping it, I KNEW they would soon be censored. You MAY be able to contact them and get a tape, I doubt it, but maybe worth a try.

I'd like to get a copy of the live news coverage of any major network during the first few hours of the attack (from the first bulletin til after the second collapse). I was asleep as all this happened and was not aware of it until Noon Eastern. I've heard a few comments that Brokaw and Jennings made as the event unfolded on their monitors but I'd like to see for myself how well they covered a major news story on the fly (pardon the allusion) and whether it matched the responses I saw of news coverage during the JFK assassination. So far a mixed bag, keep 'em coming. If you don't want to clog the thread (with the new format most original posts get lost so to speak, because of the new format). IN my case I didn't mind waiting on 293 posts to load. That way I can keep them all in one IE window. To each his own.

Even if you found pictures to post, pro-Islamic terrorist apologizers and excusers would claim that they were fake or propaganda, not to mention the Muslim populations themselves. As for loyal Americans, these pictures must be available if and when such a sentiment for sympathy for the casualties of our enemies emerges. American GIs in Europe were ordered by General Omar Bradley to tour and view the Nazi death camps, not to shock or sicken them, but to show them exactly whom and what they were fighting for. The same was done with the Malmedy massacre of captured American GIs by Nazi SS troops. Sometimes the harsh reality of war has to be brought home to the people to make them understand what is at stake and what may happen if we aren't victorious.
