Why is he gone? I don't want to make the same mistake. Can you let me know? Thanks.

Is it just me, or why is every link posted here dead?
You may already be too late in your quest. Yep...move along..no history is being erased here..move along.
To: Looking4Truth
What ever you get, post it. That way a hundred people will have the record. History is too precious to be guarded by only a few.
To: Timesink
Did you save it? It's no longer there...

Apparantly the IP address was just changed. Try
here.

I don't know if this is what you want, but I made this one and have posted it numerous times on FR for the reasons you've stated.
Please copy, email, print, send to any and every American you care to. Never forget.

Couldn't agree more. As a matter of fact I've said the same thing on a couple of threads. The picture I want is the one of the flight attendant's arms bound with plastic strapping that they found on the Marriott roof. That says it all.
We need these to repeat like the Vietnam era pictures everybody remembers, and we still see, of the guy getting shot in the head and the girl running from the napalm. These two pictures did more to turn the American public against the war than Jane Fonda. Why is it that equivalent pictures of American victims of atrocity are suppressed? We're too soft on ourselves, or maybe the galvanizing effect it would have on public opinion scares the media that has the pictures.
A friend who is in the FBI told me they have a lot of this stuff on tape and film. One of the flight 93 female crew members had an interesting tatoo below her navel. That's all they found of her, and it's how she was identified.
I don't think this desire is perverted. I can't stand gore when it results from accidents or natural disaster, but this act was deliberate and needs to be understood by everyone in terms of the magnitude of the horror.

I've kinda wondered if the liberal media watered down the video and images because they didn't want everybody in the US to be upset and angry over what happened.
My theory being, look at Vietnam and what they showed and published there (remember we were the mean old US trying to run a small 3rd world country). Look at 9/11, and everything is sanitized so people don't feel the anger and get fully behind the war/nation.

I have no idea, you'll need to ask Jeff where he moved his site to. When I posted the link over 2 months ago his site was full of WTC photos.

Bump...

I just re-read this thread and I want to apologize for some of my more emotional replies to some of the FReepers who disagreed with me or didn't understand my intentions.
It was a very emotional time for us all.
To: Loopy
Thank you for that link.
Those pictures suffice, and the message at the end is clear.
We don't need gory pictures to remind us.
The color crayon drawing of the American Flag by the 6 year old is especially poignant. What American could see that and not be enraged?

Can you lock down this thread for me. I would prefer for it not to be bumped anymore. I posted a link to it in the "You'll See This Once" thread and would prefer that the new thread be the current resource. Thank You. L4T.

Has anyone ever heard or read an estimate of the number of people who chose leaping over burning on that horrible day?
