I have to say, no matter who wins the ALC, both teams really were a sight to behold. As a Yankee fan, I was pleased by the Yankees comeback in the late innings.
But, the Mariners proved themselves to be a worthy opponent last night, and they showed they belong in the championship series. They have quite a team, Seattle has much to be proud of.
As per MarMema's deal, she and I will unite behind the winner of this series. FREEPERS UNITE!

I saw that too! Did you see the veins popping? Man. He's gotta take a lesson from Joe Torre (though Joe may be a bit too far the other way, in too much contol).
How are you going to feel when the Yankees sign Giambi?
Invalid hypothisis...A's RE-sign Giambi fer multi-year contract!!!
Other than that...that would suck...MUD
BTW...Jeremy Giambi's foot was on the plate when that catcher tagged him in Game #3...that would have made it one out, first and third, tied 1-1. Maybe they get outta that inning with no further damage (I doubt it)...maybe David Justice hits a dinger down 3-1 or 2-1 or tied (I doubt it)...A's Should Be in the Series TODAY...and if y'all take that injustice and stick it down our throats by signing Giambi away from us...well, I shudder just thinking about the potential consequences.
The Yanks lost that 3rd game, cause Billy Boy was there...he brings a jinx wherever he goes! Here we go, RSADGE, don't want you to be disappointed....
Heck maybe Randy Johnson will be with the Cubs next year. He's been with about every other team hasn't he?
Yanks are going to chew the D-backs up and spit them out! You can't win with only 2 pitchers!!!!
I dunno, maybe she lost her Yankee cap. Bubba was there on Saturday, talk'n someone's ear off, as usual ("but, I did try to get bin Laden, honest, I did, I was this close").
I like Chicago, but the White Sox are it! Oh BTW, anyone like cheese? I like cheese!
From my angle, it looked out to me! Maybe they need to learn how to slide on close plays?
I plan on watching this Series, if for one reason only. I love baseball, but I don't think we'll have a 2002 season. The owners know that their revenue streams will be down due to the economy, and the players have not lost a battle with the owners yet. There's bad blood a-brewing among the owners, too (between big market and small market franchises).
Waiting until Saturday definitely benefits Arizona, because that gives Schilling and Johnson enough rest to really recharge their arms. It's of no real benefit to the Yankees, because their staff is so deep.
Anyway, best of luck to your Yankees...I still think they've got way too many horses for AZ to handle.
Obviously, you've got me dead to rights there...and how come our 3rd-Base Coach (Is that Claudell Washington?) can't stop waving to a guy who's running away from him long enuff to tell poor Tejada to start gettin' it fer third?! Frustrating...really is. Bet'cha you were happy to see Soriano doing the honors...gotta get those first few PrimeTime plays behind you if yer gonna continue a Dynasty. Yanks are gettin' old...

Thanks MUD, I appreciate the good wishes.....Now wait a minute, if you are on the East Coast, why in the world would you be an A's fan? Is that a bad question?
If the Yanks win the World Series, will you write a song? Please....
Thanks My Talented Freeper Friend,
KLT aka Karen
Thank you Victoria, it's good to finally meet you on the threads!
