As these 'behind the scenes' stories continue to be posted, I can't help thinking how different things would have been if only one CCW holder was aboard each plane, and armed with his or her gun.

There is a very high probability that more than one of these brutal acts of war would have been stopped. Not because of anything the federal government did, or Congress did, or some some airline bureuacrat did. But simply because the aforementioned entities got the hell out of the way of Free Americans excercising their right to keep and bear arms.

Powerful article. I had not considered it from this aspect, from the horrors of the traffic controllers and company execs. Rough stuff. The dispatcher...is reminded again of what happened, like when a United pilot recently told him,
“Your name is all over this airline,” as word spread of who handled both doomed flights.

Like the dispatcher could have prevented the hijackings.
