Rush: Let's roll -- with neutron bombs if needed
Rush Limbaugh ^ | 10/17/01 | Rush

Posted on 10/17/2001 9:43:52 AM PDT by spycatcher

Nice to see Rush mentally alert, talking about how some would like to blame right-wingers for Anthrax. But he's not buying it. Says it's probably Iraq, and we should consider using everything in our arsenal including neutron bombs to make sure it never happens again.

You misunderstood. Rush is saying it's Iraq, not left or right.

The left-wing media is the one trying to divide us

And I'm speculating that many of the *hoaxes* were sent by the left since that was who started carping on the right-wingers very suspiciously.

I wonder then, why Patkaki's office was hit with anthrax? Would right wingers hit a republican's office? Hmmmm

But there is that nagging questions....why hasn't CNN been hit with anthrax yet? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Do they have some kind of IN with bin laden the pig?

It is quite likely the sender of the anthrax letters has been vaccinated.

As to Rush's proposed Iraqi connection. I think Saddam Hussein understands very well that an Iraqi sponsored biological weapons attack on the U.S. would be the end of his regime, most likely in a hail of fuel-air weapons, though possibly with nukes thrown in.

On the other hand, there are almost certainly elements in the Iraqi establishment who are more sympathetic to al Qaeda's brand of Islam than to the secularism of the Baathist movement. Rogue Islamists in Iraq would fit with

The Islamists would even welcome an American attack on Iraq (and particularly one on shaky evidence) as it would bolster their propaganda campaign with the Muslim masses, and would remove a strong secularist Arab government all in one stroke.

IT IS NOW TIME TO PRAY FOR INNOCENT VICTIMS FIRST AND THEN UNLOAD OUR FULL ARSENAL ON THESE COUNTRIES (and we know who they are) INCLUDING NUCLEAR WEAPONS. IF WE DON'T, THEN WE WILL OBVIOUSLY SEE MORE AND MORE ATTEMPTS ON AMERICAN (Christian and Jewish) LIVES. IF YOU AGREE JUST POST A "GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR ENEMY" JM

Our local afternoon geeks (who litter the airwaves after Rush)were going on and on about that yesterday, about it likely being the work of right-wing extremists and that they should be dealt with like any other terrorist groups.

Ah, you of course, are referring to Colin McEnroe. No one else fits the description of geeky leftist moreso than he, except perhaps NPR's twit-like Daniel Shore.

Tall_Texan, In reponse to one of your many questions, here is an article from newsmax.com:

Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001 3:30 p.m. EDT

Hijacker Spotted With Possible Chemical Burns Before Attack

Mohamed Atta was spotted in a Florida pharmacy suffering from what appeared to be chemical burns just days before he hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 and slammed it into the World Trade Center.

"A pharmacist in Florida says Atta and another one of the hijackers visited his store in August and Atta had red burning hands," reported Fox News Channel's Rita Cosby late Monday.

"The pharmacist says he believes [the redness] was due to chemical burns. He said when he asked Atta what caused his hands to become red, he would not say."

Cosby said the pharmacist did not believe Atta was handling anything like anthrax at the time since his hands did not have any blisters.

Last week National Enquirer editor Steve Coz told ABC News the FBI was investigating a report that Atta's hand condition could be linked to anthrax infection.

Atta lived near The National Enquirer's offices at American Media Inc. in Boca Raton, Fla., where five employees have tested positive for anthrax exposure and one has died from the infection.

I just think Hussein supplied it, and that he thought 3rd party plausible deniability was enough. He thinks we won't dare attack him -- see the book link posted above

Right now we have more reason to suspect Fourth Graders or someone who hates the name "Tom" as we do conservatives.

how could someone pour lethal toxic amounts of Anthrax into ordinary envelopes

Simple, use a glove box. That is a sealed container with windows and glove openings. They can be bought cheap from used scientific equipment dealers or even ebay.

What if it were tied to Palestinians? Are we willing to see Israel become collateral damage?

No, we do not have any neutron bombs in our arsenal. George Bush, elder, had them destroyed. This according to Sam Cohen, inventor of the neutron bomb. There is speculation that Red China, India, and Israel possess it.

Then answer another question. How does a man whom we believe died on September 11th, whose last days were spent in Massachussetts and Maine, send letters from New Jersey to New York and Washington on September 18th?

Says it's probably Iraq

Has he heard something we havent? i doubt it.

And a neutron bomb? makes sense, gallup shows mentioning neutron bombs is a lot better for ratings and ad dollars than other foreign policy options. All you armchair strategist get that right before going on TB ok?

**Simple, use a glove box. **

Okay. But somebody still has to take it out of the glove box to put it in the mail. Do we have any surveillance videos of someone using tongs to send off their mail?

Hey! Maybe it was a guy with a mechanical arm!

He doesnt need to. The letter were sent out by other operatives in his organization. I hate to burst your bubble, but there were more than 19 operatives our nation.

****************" If breathing the stuff is dangerous, how did he get them in the envelopes, seal them, possibly address them and then carry them out without infecting himself?"********************************************

The sh-t may be injected by syringe through the edge of an envelope!

I realize that but, if it was Atta who made the letters, wouldn't it be more effective to send them off a week *before* the hijackings rather than a week after when people would be more alert to possible terrorism?

Of course there are more than just those 19. It's not MY bubble you're bursting. It's yours - that Atta was the culprit.

If you want to suggest that Atta mixed all this up and set up the letters before leaving for Massachusetts then it means some accomplice had it sitting in their house for at least ten days before deciding to mail it. Maybe it was one of those who didn't know they were being sacrificed like some of the hijackers reportedly didn't "need to know".

Which then leads back to my original point - why aren't we looking at New Jersey hospitals?

I agree, checking NJ hospitals is necessary. I think that the intent of Atta & the hijackers was to crash a plane into the White house and Capitol. Why waste the anthrax ahead of time if you are going to target them by slamming planes into congressional offices ? I think that the plan was that the operatives were to wait to see whether Atta carried out the missions as successful. Any pols that survived the attack were to be targeted with anthrax in an attempt to fully collapse the US govt.

**The sh-t may be injected by syringe through the edge of an envelope! **

The edge of a *paper* envelope with obvious seepage marks by the time it arrived. Just because it's sealed in an envelope doesn't mean it can't infect someone.

On a side note, I heard from ABC News that Publisher's Clearinghouse has sent out contest entries with packages of *laundry detergent* included. They are worried someone's letter might open and have the contents spill out, causing someone to come unglued and call the police.

Wonder which cleanser's name is on the package?
