Fox reporting that anthrax strain at Capitol office building not as "pure" as reported If they even try to spin this...
On another note..does anyone know if they could somehow distribute this stuff through the exhaust of a car or the like?

What you heard is "We are not ready to fight Iraq." That's what's between the lines. Bush et. al. are worried that an attack on Iraq will galvanize the Muslims against us. So he, et. al. are sweeping the connections under the rug.

let me state again, It doesn't matter that we can provide effective remedial measures to victims of anthrax, and this isn't a really a matter of "over reacting" and with a climate of "fear" and thus giving the terrorists a "victory" unless we all act like business as usual and not say anything . . . I am not AFRAID, I am OUTRAGED - expressing this outrage isn't fear, and we should not be told by anyone, not even our own government, that we should just all be quite about this or else we are showing "fear" . . . again, I am not afraid, I am outraged and angry regarding this act of war, I want a declaration of war by Congress on any nation found who sourced this weapons grade anthrax . . .

It is funny cause I just got a folded up paper in my mailbox which was from an unknown person telling me to read 4 pages of the bible each day. I am holding on to it cause you never know what was on it. Maybe I am being paranoid - I am sure it is probably from a Jehova Witness, but after the WTC attack and the anthrax horror I don't want to take any chances.

"
did hear on fox that the anthrax in the senate is not the "pro" version."It does sound like the story is changing rapidly. They're reconsidering the recess.

It's past time to call your doctor. But better late than too late...As posted on another thread, the prophylactic (preventative) use of antibiotics, for those not definitely exposed, can put an individual at further risk, since the antibiotic can cause resistance to the actual infection, if that remote possibility happens.

We had an employee off for over a week, she had to go to the hospital with a stomach virus. She was coughing up blood. She's fine now, but she said they didn't know what the virus was.
Tonight when I go in, I'm going to ask her for more of her symptoms, I remember sick and coughing blood from our previous conversation.
Others had the trots for days.

So he, et. al. are sweeping the connections under the rug.Please. The Arab world clubbed together and paid the United States $50 billion to kick Iraq out of Kuwait. Nobody wants a psychopath as a next-door-neighbour.
We are dallying about hitting Iraq because, through this escalating anthrax terror campaign, Saddam has signalled to us that he has succesfully forward positioned agents with weapons of mass destruction on US soil. From a balance-of-power standpoint, it's just as if he had nuclear-tipped ICBMs pointed at America.

Think of all the time the feds wasted during the past 10 years investigating people who harmed sucker fish, people who insulted fags in public, and insuring that affirmative action laws were followed. Oh, boy, all that crap really helped us, huh?

"I think we've underestimated the enemy .. and I am sure the experts think we're safe from bio-terrorism but i know we're not.."
Of course, we have. Americans have gotten used to no one being able to touch us. We are used to technology protecting us. Before this thing is over, I think that a lot of soul-seaching and changes in attitudes will take place. I imagine that Dashchle's staff had a life-changing experience.

By whom? These are her soul mates.

Be brave and angry. The chance of you getting it is still quite small.

Nah, wouldn't surprise me..all the business about it being super-pure, weapons grade, etc. seems to have come from assorted Senators relaying what they heard in a briefing. In times of crisis people who have been directly under threat are given to dramatization...just as people in a destroyed trailer park will insist they were hit by a tornado when they weren't, no one wants to believe they were attacked by anything other than the highest grade of anthrax, oddly. I'm sure it will get sorted out eventually. Correctly analyzing something like this takes a long time and I'd consider anything other than a CDC press conference pretty suspect.

Thats a gross exagerration. A weapon that has killed exactly one person so far can hardly be called a weapon of mass destruction, and it is certainly not comparable to a nuclear ICBM.
(BTW, Sarah Brady just called, she wants her hyperbole back. 8-)

In Florida and NY they didn't know they got anthrax, they passed the letters around casually, yet still there was minimal exposure.
In Daschle's office, the woman spotted the brown powder as soon as she opened the envelope that it occurred. She did not remove the letter, she placed it down, called security right away. 29 people were exposed. Notice the difference? Those were busy offices too. The stuff Daschle got was ground extremely fine professionally no matter what the spin masters are trying to tell us.

if it would suit her politically, through sympathy or whatever, she would stage it and fake it. dont put anything past that.... well, fill in the blank.

Wait a minute. FOX reported spores in the ventalation system and tunnels , and Hasterts office.
Then CNN said no, just an over reaction.
Now Pataki.
Who's right? FOX saying spores are all over the place, or CNN that spores were NOT found?

This is what I think is going on...
The quickie "field test" tests for ANY Bacillus bacteria..not just anthrax. The specific anthrax test takes far longer.
The various false alarms reported is the quickie field test, as best I can tell, being reported by the media as "positive" for Anthrax. MAY be what is going on in Hastert's office, and appears to be what happened in the Reno NV Microsoft thing (this has been buried at the bottom of a lot of news articles today, but apparently the ENTIRE Nevada thing was a false alarm, no anthrax).

They are saying that "Most" of the 29 victims were in Daschle's office. Let's review. That means, not all. Which means that the other folks probably got it through ventilation system if they weren't in Daschle's office.
