Washington, Oct. 15 (Bloomberg) -- President George W. Bush said legislators must ``resist pressure to unwisely expand government'' as the U.S. moves to toughen protections against terrorist attacks.
Bush said he wants to structure the federal government more like private companies, with fewer managers, more competitive bidding for services and tighter controls on spending. He sent legislation to Congress that he said would bring ``market-based competition'' to the federal government and allow agencies to offer early retirement packages and relocation bonuses.

osama? who's osama? Please do not dignify this piss-ant puke by using his first name? Why dignify this camel jockey by referring to him by a given name he doesn't deserve. I had similar impressions with George Herbert Walker Bush about 10 years ago sucking up to "Saddheim's" name. GHWB was, and still is is a true Gentleman but I still think Americans should refer to an ass-hole as an ass-hole. bin-Laden, Heussein, et. al are the antithesis of what America stands for. Button up America. Please don't dignify this bastard by referring to him by his given name. Especially since he was probably delivered by on of his camel's driven hard by his illegitimate father. By the way, I'm Mark Davis, 7th generation Loyal American. You can call me "Mark." If you hate my guts, then of course, you can call me "Davis." God Bless America even if the folks in Madison, WI can't stomach patriosm to the United States of America.

``Government should be limited but effective, should do a few things and do them well,'' Bush told government officials at an awards ceremony today. Sounds great. Mr. President, I think you are a great guy; but like you said in your press conference, results, not words, are what counts.
