I remain skeptical that Atta and his confederate would have been occupied with picking up anthrax just a few hours before boarding their flight, or that Hybridon is the source of the anthrax. However, I think it is significant that the subject of this article lives in Portland, and had previously known the hijackers in San Diego. I think he probably had some connection with the plot.
