In a statement broadcast on Qatar-based Al-Jazeera television, a spokesman for Usama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda movement vowed to continue its war of terror on America until it halts the attacks on Afghanistan and withdraws from all Muslim lands.

The spokesman said the group would bring the war to the "heart of America," and called on Muslims around the world to join in its "crusade" against U.S. interests everywhere, according to a translation of the report provided by the Reuters news service.

CAIRO, Egypt –– Osama bin Laden's spokesman on Tuesday called for a holy war against U.S. interests everywhere and praised the hijackers who flew planes into the World Trade Center and Pentagon for their "good deed."

"America must know that the storm of airplanes will not stop and there are thousands of young people who look forward to death like the Americans look forward to life," said Sulaiman Abu Ghaith said.

UPDATE 1-Al-Qaeda threatens prolonged attacks on U.S.

DUBAI, Oct 9 (Reuters) - Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda group said on Tuesday that hijacked plane attacks on the United States would continue and that the "battle" would not end until America withdrew from Muslim lands.

Al-Qaeda spokesman Sulaiman Bu Ghaith said in a message carried on Qatar's al-Jazeera Television that the group believed in "terrorism against oppressors".

"Americans should know...The storm of the (hijacked) planes will not stop," he said, referring to the suicide plane attacks on New York and Washington last month.

"Let America know that this battle will not leave its land until it exits our land, and until they stop supporting the Jews and lift the unjust sanctions on Iraq," he said.

The station did not explain the origin of the statement but it appeared to be a video recording. Bu Ghaith had appeared with bin Laden on a recorded statement issued via Jazeera last Sunday.

Referring to those who carried out the suicide plane attacks, he said that "they did good by taking the battle into the heart of America" and that the United States should know such attacks will not end.

U.S. President George W. Bush has named bin Laden as the prime suspect in the September 11 attacks on the United States, and has launched attacks on Afghanistan and its Taliban regime to try to hunt him and his network down.

"The crusade that Bush had promised has started," Bu Ghaith said. He said Muslims were now obliged to fight a holy war or jihad against the United States and suggested that they should target U.S. interests across the world.

"U.S. interests are spread everywhere in the world. Every Muslim should carry out his full role," he said.

"Let them know that by invading the land of Afghanistan, they opened a new page of enmity and conflict between us and the infidel forces."

This Al Qaeda spokesman is nothing more then a puppet worshipper of Usama Bin Laden. It was a rant against everything that isn't of the Muslim world of terrorism according to Bin Laden. The more this type of inflammatory rhetoric is spewed by these Bin Laden worshippers and the more free people of the world hear it, the more these rag headed wacko's will be seen for what they really are. Thanks. I majored in History in college (though in all honesty, I had to reference an old textbook to come up with the correct Pope and date).

Often PC-speak and actual facts clash. While I stand behind President Bush (whom I voted for) 100%, it does make me cringe whenever he speaks of our "1 billion muslim friends". Where are they Mr. President?!? Show me a dozen of them! All I see are muslims cheering 9/11 and burning American flags here and abroad. Am I to believe Bush or my own lying eyes? Furthermore, if all of these "muslims are our friends" crowd ever even bothered to read the Koran, they would learn, in no hidden language, that Islam is nothing more than an excuse for criminal behavior disguised as a religion. Reading the Koran is like reading Mein Kampf only shorter and more comprehendable.

You might want to add croissants to your menu too. I mentioned a while ago on another thread that I had read that they were invented at the seige of Vienna as a mocking of the Islamic symbol of the crescent moon. A very un PC food even though it's more associated with the french these days.
