I do believe that David Kendall is a part owner of these tabloids.

Update in the AP story... read this new info
A nasal swab from the patient tested positive for the anthrax bacterium, said Tim O'Conner, regional spokesman for Florida's health department.
It was not yet clear if anthrax had only infiltrated his nose or had gotten into his lungs, officials said. Relatively large anthrax spores that lodge in the upper respiratory tract are less dangerous than smaller spores that get into the lungs.
Doctors "describe his condition as good right now," O'Conner said. "He hasn't been diagnosed with the disease, there's just a presence of (the disease) in his nostrils."
"He was given a nasal swab because he happened to be in a hospital and he was ill," said Barbara Reynolds, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta.
O'Conner and Reynolds said they did not know what symptoms of illness the man displayed or whether any of the symptoms were consistent with anthrax. The disease in early stages may resemble the flu.
Good thing this guy was sick with an unrelated illness right? The media is soft pedaling this big time.

The first case of Anthrax in twenty-five years just happens to occur after the events of 9/11. Sorry, I ain't buying that story. Can you say Panic Management? What else is the government going to say? Does anyone really think they will admit the truth ... at least before it has been contained?

Everyone keeps talking about the location of Lantana to the terrorists locations, but no one is pointing out that this quarantined building is only two miles away from the Boca Executive Airport. I hope the FBI is looking closely at that! The flight pattern from the south of the airport is directly over my condo's head and the airport is located next to Florida Atlantic University, a large school with a large foreign enrollment. We have a significant Jewish population and are a very wealthy city; it would make a significant target.

I work a few blocks down from where the second case was diagnosed. For those of you who don't know the geography of this area, Boca Raton is the next town over to Deerfield Beach, where 11 of the 19 terrorists were located. People in my building are extremely nervous

According to FL public records, here's the street address for the building. I'm assuming this is the one that is now quarantined:
NEW YORK DEPARTMENT OF STATE, CORPORATE RECORD
NAME: STAR EDITORIAL, INC.
TYPE: FOREIGN BUSINESS
STATE OF INCORP.: DELAWARE
COUNTY OF PRINCIPAL OFFICE: NEW YORK
EXECUTIVE OFFICE ADDRESS: 5401 N.W. BROKEN SOUND BLVD
BOCA RATON, FL 33487-3589
CHAIR OF THE BOARD: DAVID PECKER
5401 N.W. BROKEN SOUND BLVD
BOCA RATON, FL 33487-3589
THE CORPORATION
C/O AMERICAN MEDIA INC
190 CONGRESS PARK DR SUITE 200
DELRAY BEACH, FL 33445
CALIFORNIA SECRETARY OF STATE, CORPORATE RECORD.
NAME: NATIONAL ENQUIRER, INC.
TYPE OF CORP.: STATEMENT AND DESIGNATION BY FOREIGN CORPORATION

MAILING ADDRESS: 5401 NW BROKER SOUND BLVD
BOCA RATON, FL 33487
PRESIDENT: DAVID PECKER
5401 NW BROKER SOUND BLVD
BOCA RATON, FL 33487
A Mapquest search for the "5401 NW Broker Sound" address comes up empty, but I'm getting a hit on the "33487-3589" zip code. It's a hop, skip and a jump from the Boca Raton airport.
When you go to this link, the red star at the very top of the map is the hit for the zip code (Near Yamato Rd). Note the proximity to the airport: http://www.mapquest.com/cgi-bin/ia_find?link=btwn/twn-map_results&south=1&uid=u3caseo7m4p5z4rd:tx1yz2uy

Wish I could stick around to comment, but gotta run.
Besides, I'm sure this is all just another "isolated and unrelated incident."

Just an unrelated, isolated incident.
You know how an infected sheep will wander into the air intake duct of an office building? I hate it when they do that.
To: Maceman
This could have been a test. Try it out in a relatively small building's central air system. Go for bigger buildings later. (Major corporation HQ, large big city skyscraper, etc.)
Another angle: Have these crazy tabloids written anything on OBL?

This is clearly an unrelated isolated incident. No need to worry.

Dade County public health department is now asking hospitals to report their volumes of patients presenting with fever symptoms during the last 24 hours. Wouldn't surprise me if all other S Fla govts are doing the same.
