Yes but you aren't detsroying their property, family or friends. You're merely destroying the civilians which is something the Taliban is only too happy to do itslef most of the time. Now if it accidently kills Omar, no one will be happier than me.

In war, you have to go in with big equipment, men, and guns. Civilian losses are part of it. I will bet that when this is over, we will have killed less civilians than Osama did when he hit the WTC. Any death is a bad thing, but this is Planet Earth. It would be worse in the long run if we do not have this war and teach a serious lesson.

You're merely destroying the civilians What a thoughtless, ill-informed statement. Typical of the generalizations uttered by the moral equivalency types who cannot connect a logical thought from A to B. I am sorry, but it's true.
Why would you even say such a thing? President Bush's speech could not have made it clearer that the targets are military installations, command centers, and known terrorist camps. The civilians who have hung around these areas must know the risks. CNN and FOX have been showing footage of Afghani people fleeing to the borders, they obviously have heard the news that the Taliban is going to be under attack.
So, why the comment?
