October 5, 2001 -- AFTER seven months, Ariel Sharon finally had enough.

Since he took office, he's followed the U.S. line - talking peace with the Palestinians and agreeing to concession after concession.

In the grim days that followed the attacks on America, he even OK'd a meeting between his foreign minister, Shimon Peres, and Yasser Arafat - at the urgent request of Colin Powell.

Dammit. I am sick of every other nation showing balls in this "war on terrorism" accept the U.S. If Saudi Arabia doesn't let us use their bases, we can take them by force. If the Arabs won't let us go after Saddam, we can go after the whole lot of them. We have the power. It's time to use it.

The biggest obstacle is America, America is using both Military and financial support to prop up every pro western Arab state in the Middle East, and not a single democracy amongst them.

Are you suggesting that promoting democracy in the mid-eastern countries will actually produce stability? From what I understand, much of the populations in mid-eastern, Muslim countries are far more radical than their leaders. A move toward democracy may in fact consolidate anti-American, anti-Western feeling.

If the Israeli economy were cut in half, it would still be 300%+ greater than Jordan's or Syria's economy. It is currently greater than some EU members.

I'm very disappointed in the President! The whitehouse is bending over backwards trying to appease members of some shaky coalition, many of whom support and harbor terrorists themselves. It will fall apart with the first shot if there ever is a first shot (I'm beginning to have doubts).

I'm not Jewish but SHARON IS RIGHT! The U.S. is looking weak right now. I was in Saudi Arabia and I can tell you they are NOT an ally, neither is Egypt! Israel is our only real ally in the middle east.

Screw Sharon and Israel! Israel believes that the world owes them everything because they are somehow morally, intellectually and spiritually superior to the rest of mankind. Israel exists only because of the charity of the US tax payer. They owe us their unquestioning allegience and cooperation.
