To: ALL - Update on my sister
Thank all of you so very, very much for your prayers and blessings! I cannot find the words to express my gratitude!!!
Donnas memorial service will be held this Saturday. Her heart stopped on Monday, October 1 at about 3:32 p.m. Her husband, daughter, son and I were right there for her final moments. PRAISE GOD!!!
Last Thursday at about 1:30 I was downstairs at the hospital with my nephews wife. I felt a warm rush go through me as if my sister was letting me know her spirit was free and she was happy, alive and well. We hurried back upstairs and discovered her body had slipped into a deep coma.
I had experienced that warm rush before. The evening before my mothers heart stopped, just when she entered a deep coma and previously when my former husbands heart stopped while we were diving.
Praise God!!! for the blessed assurance of witnessing Donnas graduation, both in spirit and in body! Every moment with Donna is a treasure to me and I Praise God!!! that this separation is only temporary!

Dear sister, I know you are filled with both sadness and joy, but remember that your separation is for just a little season, and that right now Donna is seated at the feet of our Savior and basks in His glory.
Thank You Father that Donna is now completely healed. Thank You that her sister was able to be with her, and is now comforted because Donna beyond all pain and suffering. Thank You that we only have to wait a little while before we are all reunited with our loved ones.
Father, please send Your Comforter to Alamo-Girl. She loves You so very much, but is saddened even by the short time she and Donna must be apart. Fill her with Your peace, and wipe away every tear our precious sister sheds. Provide for all needs within this family, Dear Lord. Thank You Father...in Jesus' name...Amen.

I felt a warm rush go through me as if my sister was letting me know her spirit was free and she was happy, alive and well.I had that same sense of warmth coming over me when my younger sister went to be with the Lord 25 years ago after a year long battle with cancer(she was 22), and the words of Scripture that came to me were, "For me to live is Christ, to die is gain."
I am praying for you!

I am so sorry to hear about Donna. You have made it seem as if we knew her personally with your updates and it feels like we've lost someone close to us. Thank you for your diligence and sharing her with us. She will be missed, but only for a short time.
