To: ALL - Update on my sister
Thank all of you so very, very much for your prayers and blessings! I cannot find the words to express my gratitude!!!
Donnas memorial service will be held this Saturday. Her heart stopped on Monday, October 1 at about 3:32 p.m. Her husband, daughter, son and I were right there for her final moments. PRAISE GOD!!!
Last Thursday at about 1:30 I was downstairs at the hospital with my nephews wife. I felt a warm rush go through me as if my sister was letting me know her spirit was free and she was happy, alive and well. We hurried back upstairs and discovered her body had slipped into a deep coma.
I had experienced that warm rush before. The evening before my mothers heart stopped, just when she entered a deep coma and previously when my former husbands heart stopped while we were diving.
Praise God!!! for the blessed assurance of witnessing Donnas graduation, both in spirit and in body! Every moment with Donna is a treasure to me and I Praise God!!! that this separation is only temporary!

Alamo-Girl is such an inspiration to the rest of us in her unfailing praises to our Lord & Savior in spite of calamity. Rather than curse God, she remained close to Him and continues to trust Him. And she has the peace of knowing she will be re-united with her sister one of these days.
Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for the strength you gave to these two girls. Thank you that they both are Your Children. And thank you for your Son, that they have the assurance of eternal life. Amen.
We love you.
Your bold & mighty testimony to your sister & her faith is awesome.
Truly, you will see her again!!----May God comfort you now.
Thank-you for sharing your hope & faith.
Please know that all of us in your FReeper family grieve alongside you for your sister, Donna. Many prayers to her family in their time of need.
You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion, forever. Psalm 73:24-26
Words cannot be adequate. Just listen to the Holy Spirit speaking His words of comfort, strength, and love into your spirit.
Remember.....
May God keep you and your family in his arms.
Words of comfort also to you. May God Bless you.
For none of us lives to himself, alone and none of us dies to himself alone. If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. Romans 14:7-8
Alamo-Girl - thoughts and prayers for God's comfort, peace, and "very present help" to surround you and all of Donna's loved ones at this time. As you say - Praise God!
A-G, your words of faith and hope remind me why our church has no funerals, rather the "Celebration of the Christian Hope of the Resurrection."
As He Himself said, "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
May you have that peace which passes all understanding. Our prayers are with you and your family in this time of loss and grief.
logos
If I take the wings of the morning,
And dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea.
Even there Your hand shall lead me.
And Your right hand shall hold me.
- Psalms 139:9-10
God comfort you in your sorrow and may the knowledge of the Resurrection give you strength in the days ahead.
