Oh Sweet Jesus, what a difficult evening this has been. Alamo Girl, this is such sad news. You and I know that your sister is rejoicing with her Lord, but it is hard to give up your loved ones. May you be comforted by your memories and by the Comforter. I will think of you in the days to come and when I do I will send up a prayer for you. I'm sorry I did not learn about this until this late hour.

The Peace of the Lord be with you and your family,Alamo-Girl. As I was reading of your news ,it reminded me of something that a friend of mine ,who is a priest, once explained. He said the literal (and ancient) translation of the word good-bye, i.e. what you you are really saying to some-one is : God Be with you on your journey. I'm glad to read that you got to say good-bye to your sister. Keeping you in my Prayers. God Bless You.

Dear Alamo Girl,
I will continue to pray for you and your family knowing that our Lord will give you strength for the day and comfort in your loss. Stand fast and continue to fight the good fight, so many are strengthened by you and your work. God bless and keep you and yours.

Alamo-Girl, your sister shines brightly in her new abode, fashioned by the Master's hand. And when it comes time for you to enter into His presence, there will be a joyous reunion for you both.
As Jesus said,"If it were not so, I would have told you..." God bless you and keep you. Thank you for your brave and consistent testimony. One of God's blessings was to be there when Donna entered into eternal life. On Sunday, it will be eight years that I was given the same privilege, when my brother passed on.
Cancer may have gotten the body, but it never touched the spirit. She is safe now, and forever free of this world's constraints, thanks be to God.

Thank you GretchenEE for giving us this thread. I am posting my thoughts, which I had written on the prior thread:
"Thank you, AG, for letting us into your life during these past months. Donna will now join my list of Freepers, who are with the good Lord, and for whose souls I reflect on.
Let your memories be joyful and may you bask in the radiance from your dear sister, Donna."

We rejoice with Donna that she can look upon Jesus' face, and we praise God that He will supply your needs when you are feeling loneliness for her. You are a powerful witness of living a life of love and faith in God. God only knows how many lives were touched by you and Donna through this very hard time. God bless you, sister.
