Alamo-Girl's Sister - Service on Oct. 6

I pulled this from the prior thread posted by our beloved Alamo-Girl, here: --> Prior Thread.

To: ALL - Update on my sister

Thank all of you so very, very much for your prayers and blessings! I cannot find the words to express my gratitude!!!

Donna’s memorial service will be held this Saturday. Her heart stopped on Monday, October 1 at about 3:32 p.m. Her husband, daughter, son and I were right there for her final moments. PRAISE GOD!!!

Last Thursday at about 1:30 I was downstairs at the hospital with my nephew’s wife. I felt a warm rush go through me as if my sister was letting me know her spirit was free and she was happy, alive and well. We hurried back upstairs and discovered her body had slipped into a deep coma.

I had experienced that warm rush before. The evening before my mother’s heart stopped, just when she entered a deep coma – and previously when my former husband’s heart stopped while we were diving.

Praise God!!! for the blessed assurance of witnessing Donna’s graduation, both in spirit and in body! Every moment with Donna is a treasure to me and I Praise God!!! that this separation is only temporary!

Alamo-Girl is such an inspiration to the rest of us in her unfailing praises to our Lord & Savior in spite of calamity. Rather than curse God, she remained close to Him and continues to trust Him.

Yes - that has always blessed me about our Alamo-Girl! I know it blesses God, too.

completely missed the first notice.

It was tucked waaaay down on the thread, somewhere after post #200 ... I figured a lot of us had missed it, and that A-G had her schedule pretty full right now. I know she will be greatly blessed by the warmth, love, sincere care and prayers our FReeper family is sending to her.

May God's peace be with you and your loved ones.

And for your sister Donna.
Eternal rest grant unto her oh Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and all the souls of the faithfully departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen.

This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day. John 6:39-40

God please raise up the spirits of our dear sister AG and her family and keep your beloved Donna in your arms and safe keeping until they see her again.

SOUNDS LIKE PRAYERS WERE ANSWERED though HIS way.

Very blessed to hear of His confirmation of her peace, joy, freedom.

THANKFULLY, we have the eternal Hope of His Resurrection and joining her there--sooner and sooner from the looks of the daily headlines.

The Cyber Liberty household has you in their prayers and thoughts. I once lost a brother 12 years ago, and a day hasn't gone by when I haven't thought of him and the silly and wonderful things he did and said.

There are no words for such times as these, except may God bless and keep you and your family.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your precious sister. There is such peace in knowing that we will see our loved ones again and that they are resting in the Lord's arms. May our loving Father be your comfort, your strength, and your stronghold throughout this sad hour.

Gretchen, I appreciate your pinging me on this. Alamo-Girl, you are such a wonderful and loving sister. And I am so glad you were there with Donna, and know she was comforted by having her family around her. Donna is indeed in a better place. May God Bless you and your family, and comfort you with his loving grace, dear Alamo-Girl.
