Sikhs, not Hindus. Monotheists. Originated about, give or take a century or two, the same time as Islam. See Sikh History
Thank you. Same to you! ;-}
Notice how you assume that I have an agenda, only because I declare my race. Give me your race and maybe I can assign an agenda to you, darling.
The FReepers on this thread have no way of knowing your birthplace or faith.
If you noticed, I only declared being Palestinian becasue you assumed that I don't know how Middle-Easterners sound when they speak English, though I see no problem in my declaration. It's actually an act of courage, knowing the huge number of Arab-haters here.
However, until I hear a world-wide condemnation of that murdereing thug bin-Laden and his mind-numbed fanatics by the Arab/Muslim population, until they have turned over these evil ones for prosecution I am inclined to agree with one of your sentiments. i.e. "Do not believe what Muslim buttheads say! Every other Middle-Eastern is a suspect until proven otherwise."
I come from a country where Arab Jews in Nablis are living in absolute peace among Palestinians, *even now* when Israel is killing Palestinian children. We do not expect from those Arab Jews, called the Somarians, any comdemnation, and we sure do not consider hate crimes against them. Actually, we haven't even thought of that till people like you came up with the subject matter of "worldwide condemnation". We are not considering asking them for condemnation in the future. Do you know why? Becasue we understand, i.e. we *comprehend* the fact that they have nothing to do with Israel's acts. There are Jews in most other Arab countries that have never been harrassed.
I should not be raising this example because it's irrelevant. It is irrelevant because Israel is killing people, and Arabs killed no body. Not in the WTC, not in the Pentagon, and not in Pennsylvania. Like it or not, there is no solid evidence against Arabs. The FBI wants to clear its face in front of your guys, and you got brainwashed so easily.
What happened Tuesday is a grave crime in Islam. I'm a Muslim. I know. In the Quran there's a verse sentencing such terrorists to death or exile. I do not care if you question my feelings of agony and depression about the attacks, but I do care for you not to get killed by whoever really did this. Expect new attacks for a very simple reason: The attackers are being given the best environment to flourish, now that the whole public is looking away from them.
If you want to show your American patriotism, at least do it like I did. Donate blood. Donate money. Help with first aid. But don't accuse someone who didn't do it and put us all in danger.
I am not one to disbelieve that absolutely anything can happen from this point forward. To think otherwise would be foolhardy. However, if you prefer not to face the realm of realistic possibilities, that is certainly your right. Some people just "can't handle the truth." ;-}
I'm glad you're ok.
Now I have a headache. I'm working on the bills. I hate this job. ;-) Deej
Then when the Israelis retaliate and hit safehouses where children and women may or may not be......it killing children.........Guess what? Tough. It's your Palisti friends that have no regard for the lives of it's women and children.
As far as you being safe here, just dont let people know your radical beliefs and you'll be fine.
What I loved about it was the fact that they thought they were calling "incognito," while their room number flashed on the display. They would call, commit their "cutesy deed," then hang up. So I called them back and read them the riot act! Were they ever surprised! HA! ;-}
Sorry to hear about your bill-paying headache. Blech. I hope those things don't hurt too much! Take care!! (And thanks again; it's nice to know some people aren't jerks here at FR. Could I help it if I felt lousy today? Sheesh!) ;-}
Second, I've heard the Quran quoted many times since all those people were murdered. If the Arab world, if Muslims find bin-Laden's beliefs at odds with their faith, then why not put a stop to it and turn him over. Now. As a sign of good faith, I'd like to see a little action and less quoting. If might make claims of sorrow and sympathy such as yours a little more palpable.
Third, Don't ever presume to suggest or speak to me about appropriate ways to express my patriotism. Clearly you are at a disadvantage in that area.
Driver's throat cut
A male passenger on the bus approached the driver near Manchester, pulled a weapon and slashed the driver's throat, said Dr. Al Brandon, chief of staff of the Medical Center of Manchester and Coffee County's medical examiner. Brandon spoke after performing neck surgery on the driver, who talked to him.
FBI officials identified the man as Igric Damir, 29, of Croatia. They said he was traveling on an expired visa and had boarded the bus in Chicago.
The man stabbed the driver, Garfield Sands of Marietta, Ga., and then took control of the steering wheel, the driver told Brandon. Brandon quoted Sands as saying the man definitely intended to wreck the bus.
Absolutely. I've worked with both, and the differences in inflection, cadence, and phraseological idioms are substantial. Regional differences within Middle Eastern countries can be more pronounced than in the U.S., likewise with Slavic dialects. Lame try, Last. This is FReep, not WWF. People can and do think.
