President Bush returned to business as usual today as he met with his national security team regarding the war on terrorism. He also visited the FEMA offices and thanked the workers for all of their hard work over the past few weeks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

and there is a light there that says to me our prayers are being answered. Probably sounds goofy, but I sense it profoundly.

Not goofy at all, Republic! I sense it too, and I would guess that a lot of us who are praying for him feel the same way. I believe that we are witnessing the light of the Lord in his face as we never have before.

My personal favorite picture is the left lower one. I have it framed and hanging on the wall. I think anybody who knows love can identify with that picture. There is no doubt that our President loves his wife Laura.

NORMAL BUSHES' LEAD BY EXAMPLE

Ooooh, thanks for the link mtngrl! I love reading and seeing everything I can about these two incredible people! But the more I read, the more that I am convinced that they are not 'normal,' but are exceptional!

Martha Brant of Newsweek was on Fox & Friends this morning talking about the First Lady, and how her serenity was such a comfort, not only to her husband, but to the entire nation. She said they were calling her the "Caregiver in Chief" because of her calm, nurturing ability, and also remarked about her bravery in flying to Chicago to appear on Oprah.

They compared her with Jackie Kennedy when she stood there in her bloodstained pink suit and pillbox hat after JFK had been assassinated, because they both reassured the country in a time of severe crisis. I've never been a Kennedy fan, but that moment was profound for all of us, and for a liberal media type to make the comparison was quite remarkable to me.

Who said he couldn't get the black vote. The women in #1 adore him ALMOST as much as we do.

I got a call before 6 am telling me about the attack!

Who will ever forget that morning? I was the first person in my house to know about the disaster. My alarm went off at 6:30 and the news on the radio was all about the two towers being hit. I ran into the living room and turned on Fox News and woke everyone up yelling, "You won't believe what's happening - WAKE UP!". Then I ran in for a quick shower and by the time I came out the Pentagon had been hit.

I keep hoping that all of this was just a horrible nightmare that we will be able to wake up and find that it never happened.

I have said all along that George W. Bush is a man with a million expressions. There is times when he looks like he is 20 yrs old, and then there is times when he looks a practical joker, and there is times when he looks like the most fierce man on the face of the Earth(example)during his address to the joint session of congress he said:...

"They follow the path of fascism, and Nazism, and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way, to where it ends: in history's unmarked grave of discarded lies."

His facial expressions were not like I have ever seen from him (HE MEANT BUSINESS)

Never have I been so proud of America that we elected President Bush to lead us. Am so thankful to our Heavenly Father for this gift to our nation.

Is that really Barney or one of those black wrought iron yard silhouettes. Tehehe. I have a black cat and I often wonder the same thing about her. I saw Laura "dechopper" and set Barney down on the ground to walk untethered. First I've seen that. The President and his four footed pals. So cute. So are Barney and Spot.

I just love this man!

You know, the English language is inadequate to describe what I believe we are all feeling toward President Bush right now! We need new words to express ourselves.

I love him too, mtngrl!! And I love his wife (and their very affectionate marriage....did anyone else notice how when they were walking from Marine 1, Laura put her hand inside his bicept, then slid it down his arm until they touched hands, and then held hands?.....it was so neat.....sigh!!!!!).

I love his commitment to his Lord! I love his courage and his willingness to do the right thing no matter what anyone else thinks! I love his tender heart! I love just about everything about him!!

But the word ,love just doesn't cut it, because I say I love pizza too!! LOL!!

OK, it is definitely too late for me to be up here in EDT, so I'm going to bed. I'll give a report on my plane adventure tomorrow.......most interesting!

It seems certain that God wanted him to be President. When you look at the unprecedented struggle he had to obtain the office, you know the divine hand of God had to be in it. There were times during all of those ridiculous recounts that victory was nearly snatched from him by the democrats tricks, yet something would happen to change things, and no matter what, he won every recount.
God had chosen him to lead us, because He knew what we were about to face, and a leader of character was needed. Thank God for His wisdom!

Seeing the director of Fema here reminds me. This morning my newspaper wasn't delivered so I had to call and tell them to send one out. About an hour later, my doorbell rang and a man who looked like he could be this guy's twin stood at the door with my paper! It was just eerie how much he looked like him, haircut and all!
Gee, for a moment I thought they were here to ask for my advice about how to handle the current situation, but alas, he was just bringing my paper! LOL

Wow, I agree, I have been just amazed at the calm serene look on Laura's face since this happened. She just radiates faith and love, kind of like a glow on her face or something. While I am going around with great stress all over my face, there she is looking like the epitome of peacefulness!

BUMP! President Bush is doing a phenomenal job. I agree- get those domestic terrorist cells eradicated first. My prayers go out for GW's continuing strength. Thank you again Rintense, and also MJ for the blast from the past pictorial. I loved it!
