I'm aware she "received" a degree from Stanford. I just have to question how one does that when they are traveling all over the world for most of that time. You may recall that she started as a pre-med, meaning her first 2 years would have been heavily concentrated on the sciences - physics, chemistry & biology, with little time to pursue extra history courses. Her last 2 years were full of travels with her parents around the world. It's a little tough to keep up w/classwork in Palo Alto when you're strapped on the back of a camel in Egypt. That was simply my point.
I don't know if she did well in school. I do know she took some time off to campaign with her parents. Also, I'm married to a professor -- liberal or conservative, they're all a headstrong bunch who don't like to be told what to do and I guarrantee you that if she didn't complete her work to a high standard, she wouldn't have gotten the grades.
Of course, I won't argue that being a Clinton didn't help her out. Happens all the time. Famous people and children of wealthy donors gets preferential treatment all the time.
But most folks, even conservative pols, seem to agree that however rotten her parents are, Chelsea's turned out pretty well. So I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.
