OXFORD, England (AP) - Chelsea Clinton settled into Oxford University on Monday, where she will begin a two-year graduate degree course next week - following in the footsteps of her father.
The 21-year-old enrolled in the prestigious university to study international relations for a master's degree. Classes begin next Monday.
Former President Bill Clinton, who helped his daughter move in on Sunday, attended the same school as a Rhodes scholar from 1968-70.
Clinton told waiting reporters that she looks forward to "everything" about life at Oxford University. She has also said that she wants to be treated as a normal student.
University officials said the former president's daughter applied for her course last January, and received a place based on evidence of her academic achievements and her academic references.
Clinton graduated in June from Stanford University with a history degree.

She's beginning to look more and more like the Dem Party Mascot with each passing day. I think she looks more like Web Hubbell with each passing day.

Normally I leave the little dear alone, except for some light ribbing, but I do think it is shameless for her to be writing about her "trauma" when there are so many real stories of inspiration to be told. I think that family does nothing without first thinking how it can best benefit themselves and I think she is falling in her parents footsteps.
I know what you mean by not having enough sleep. Hope you get to feeling better.

I hear the Oxford Press will Rip Her A New One if they see an Opportunity.

Notice Chels wants to be treated like a normal student. I'm sure all the normal students have Secret Service Agents guarding them at taxpayer expense. Why does she still have Secret Service Agents? Shouldn't she be past that by now?

Goodness that's right. When they could be in the heartland, bailing drunk fratboys out of the tank.

Clinton graduated in June from Stanford University with a history degree.Let me guess: after graduating she will be writing a book about her father's Presidency! A complete whitewash of his disastrous administration and a complete savaging of the "VRWC".

Maybe those Chelsea guards could take time off to console the newly disbarred Obubba Been Laiden.

Is Chelsea named after the part of town where Bill spent his college years? Oh wait, then she'd be named Soho.

I love it. The girl in the background must be thinking "gawd, another Clinton photo-op"

What a trouper. May God grant that we survive long enough for her to take her rightful place at the helm of our country. She already has adequate experience in statecraft by assisting her father broker a mid-east peace agreement that has effectively eliminated terrorism. After Oxford puts the polish on her, just imagine what great works she will attain for the world. As the offspring of the First Black President and the Smartest Woman on Earth, history will demand no less.

Doesn't she have to be quarantined for 6 months like other equine entering Great Britain?

Thanks. My wife can't wait until I fall asleep. If you think I'm bad on FR, you should see me at home.
As far as her article? I'll wait and see what she has to say. Who knows, maybe it will be heartfelt and tasteful. But regardless, if Talk wants to pay her for her words, more power to them. Free market, baby.

"Notice Chels wants to be treated like a normal student..."pssssst....I don't think she ever SAID she wants to be treated normally...I think she doesn't SPEAK.* Her parents, however, set up (via Executive Order) her elitism OVER THE TOP! She seems to rather EXPECT it.
Geeze...does ANYONE her age in college dress that way?????
*Has anyone ever HEARD the child speak?
