Umm, this is news? I surmised this back on Sept. 13 and had just about as much evidence as they do now....none. Of course we are in there searching for him!.
Its not going to be easy, imagine searching every rockpile in Texas for one particular guy in a cowboy hat. But that doesn't really matter, because we're going to search those rockpiles until we find him if it takes 10 years.
I keep hearing that we are not going to do anything. Yeah right, take a look at the deployment orders that have been made PUBLIC. Sheesh, they ain't all just going out for tea!
Patience people, patience.

Do you notice this article is very specific with too many details. It is a ruse to get them on the run !

Wow! a whole REUTERS article about the TERRORIST Bin Laden and they never mentioned the word TERRORIST ... what a wan-na-be news source, kissing up to the Islamic terrorists.

US marine Corps F.F.A.S.T. (First Fleet Anti-Terrorist Security) Company special forces was in Pakistan ten hours into September 12th.
They secured two airbases within Pakistan.
Also...from what I am to understand..along with US Delta & Green Beret( no Rangers) and British SAS units operating in Afghanistan is a German unit (Kommando SpezialKraefte).

Most Americans were already reasonably sure of this military move. Too bad USAToday feels a need to show they were able to figure it out and advise the world.

Just heard about this on CNN.
Why not put chips in the troops, so the media can track them more easily?
The analysis by the CNN talking heads is deplorable.
Loose lips sink ships.

A lot of good intelligent replies on this article!
My take, but just a hunch:
We're there.
BEEN there.
Are checking out MANY places, not only for OBL, but for as many of his henchmen in Afgh.
AND identifying and locating as much as his "out of Afgh." people as possible.
Monitoring movements and communications inside and outside Afgh (to and from).
I wouldn't be at all surprised to someday find out that OBL could have already been "taken out" a dozen times.
Don't forget: As the old expression says: "we have bigger fish to fry" - The more careful and reasoned the prep for action, the more of his, and other, terrorist groups can be taken out - wherever they are.

You're right.

the Saudi-born Islamic militant I see Reuters has adopted the "terrorists" do not exist policy.
Maybe we should adopt a "Reuters" does not exist policy.
