LOL -- I guess it depends on what the definition of "days" is.

--you are correct. Bingo for the best dot mil analysis on the thread. Because we rely so much on "owning the night", they will want to hit closer to the new moon then the full moon coming up. They also will want to beat winter, and it's coming like right now in the himalayan mountains. Of course, the bad guys know that, too, so........

Hmm...I've heard "War will begin within days" for the past two weeks now.It most likely began last week-end by SAS and our special ops troops. Check the links to the UK press.

I suspect that if we do not see some serious action soon, Bush will begin to see his approval ratings rapidly descend. I am a staunch conservative who is getting rather tired of hearing the speak, rattle, and seeing no action.

I feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing that were all safe now. Hesitation projects weakness. With respect to the seat I must say I am anything but optimistic with hesitant george.

I think there is alot going on that we simply will not know until it is declassified

We may not "SEE" a thing for some time. It would be nice to satisfy the public with a few images of bombs dropping, and perhaps there are a few few left over from some previous war that can be aired to make everyone believe we are doing something. I wouldn't be suprised. We need to have patience. Time and again we have heard that this is not going to be a TV war.
I would suggest renting an action movie like "Delta Force" with Chuck Norris for the moment. Special Ops will NOT be on TV!

That is PRECISELY why they will, but maybe not this week. And screw the PC crowd (crud). You don't think the Japs picked Sunday morning to go after the fleet or Bin Raghead used Tuesday to hit the WTC by accident, do you?
Surprise is a very valuable combat tactic. Hit 'em when and where they least expect it. Greater sucess to casualty ratio.

Yeah, I wanted a little Doolittle raid myself. But the more I think about it, the more I'm convinced, the longer the wait, the more harsh and all encompassing the attack will be.

"I hear Clinton is purple with anger over it."
Could you also say he was bent out of shape?

I suspect that if we do not see some serious action soon, Bush will begin to see his approval ratings rapidly descend. "see" serious action...."see" serious action. Who says we will "SEE" anything? Approval ratings shouldn't play a role in this WHATSOEVER. What must be done must be done. No politics please. The President will do the right thing(s) at the right time(s).

Aw heck,,friday is a work day without a tv. Can't they do this on a friday night so we have the weekend to get our popcorn, turn on the tube and watch. As to Clinton, never mind, I wish we could ban his name, think of the pain it would cause him to be totally unnoticed.

Hmm...I've heard "War will begin within days" for the past two weeks now. No matter when it happens, the statement "War will begin within days" will be true. Ten years would be a mere 3650 days or so.

I hear we have to wait for the Popemobile to clear the green before teeing off.

"...the longer the wait, the more harsh and all encompassing the attack will be."
And the longer we wait, the more stressed out they will be. Let's do it on our terms and on our schedule. Let them wear themselves down first.

IF anything is done to stop these murderers in their tracks, "make no mistake about it," we'll see it.
