No, cook him a nice meal, give him some clean clothes, take a picture and drop it among the other Taliban troops. Tell them they will be treated better as prisoners than as enemy soldiers. It worked wonders with Saddam's troops, it will do the same here. As long as the United States makes it clear that we do not intend to permanantly occupy Afghanistan, we will not unify the various tribes against us, and can instead use psychology to implode the Taliban.

I think you're being ignorant and a bit of a bigot here. Most of the Afghanis simply don't care about global terrorism. They would rather just get back to their own internal squabbles. Bin Laden just picked a place that was in turmoil, the better to hide in.
