I don't how a conservative could oppose the most severe punishment for hackers that spread viruses. We should be increasing the punishment for other crimes and be thankful for proper punishment for losers that create viruses.

The danger here is that people who know nothing about computers consider all programming tools and activities to be "hacking."

These laws will be created and administered by technological retards. Doesn't that scare you?

The punishment should be measured by sense of justice, common good and mercy and not to be the most severe as possible. You confuse conservatism with the cruelty.
