I'm with you on the small "L" that's for sure. The LP acted like they were a large party but failed to understand that they have become part of the ash heap of 3rd party history when they failed to pursue the policy of getting local officials into office. And they've had lots of those seats available to them and done nothing.

I'll back off on my assessment somewhat as to your motivations....the Second Amendemnt is the one I'm thinking of.

I can see the likes of Hillary, Feinswein, Schumer, et. al. licking their collective chops in anticipation of using these newly granted powers of the govnernment on us "extremists" who believe that the intent of the Second was to intimidate the Government into respecting the restrictions the Constitution places on it.

Be very careful what you let out of Pandora's box.

The 2nd amendment is allowing me to do something for this war effort. I am a gun owner and proud of my right to do so. Our local sheriff's office has called for any gun owner to volunteer to patrol areas that they do not have the staff to cover (grocery stores, water supplies, utilities, etc.) so they can take a proactive stance against crime still. You would be pleasantly suprised at the number of volunteers in this area (near Tampa, FL). I was and makes me prouder to be an American every day.

Or, like Demidog, you advocate that America ought to be made safe for child pornographers.

Back that up, mister.

You will not be missed. There are more than enough ignorant airheads here to take your place.

Agreed, but unfortunately they are not aware of who they are.

I would say it's mostly those who love to hear themselves talk, and live their lives as if crises and emergencies can be resolved by talking them to death.
Or by intellectualizing themselves into eternal inactivity.

All for the sake of "Moral Superiority", or presumably also for humanity and "For the Children".

"Our lives will never be the same"

It's called spin darlin, keep saying it and people believe it!

Please elaborate.
For the life of me, I can't imagine that any informed adult in the U.S. would seriously question that as a fact.

How did it become "spin"?

No, we should not have gotten involved in WWI.

Agreed. WW II, however was another matter.

Even if our government DID trick us into getting into it. We would have eventually anyway.

Unfortunately, to enable implemention of a discriminatory policy against non-citizens, citizens would have to be provided with ID cards to enable them to prove their citizenship. Carrying of the card and producing it on official demand would be de facto mandatory.

I don't see us on track for disappearing people here. I believe Bush and Ashcroft (sp?) are honorable people and won't disappear people here.

Ok, I'll let you run with that assumption.

Now what about when Hillary wins in 2008, and the cards are still in place?

where did Demidog advocate legal possession of child pornography?

Here is just one example:

No. I suggest that images depicting real crimes, if discovered, should be followed as far as they can as leads. I do not think that the person in posession of them be prosecuted unless the pictures provide evidence that the person posessing them is a perpetrator of the crime.

Here's another:

I actually have stated that I think that it might be wiser to abolish child-porn laws.

Do you need more examples?

While these are both controversial statements, they are not the same as what was attributed to the absent poster. That is a particularly cheap shot, when the person named is unable to defend, clarify, or put into context any previous comments.

P.S. - What you should worry about, oh foil ladden one, is that many here agree with my postings. And I have put up quite a few in the last week since I've been home.

Sorry, not buying it, you have been here for a real long time, you know all the lingo and you have been banned in the past I'm sure. You show up again under a new name two days after the disaster in order to spew hate. Very few here agree with you but there are always a few dogs to throw raw meat to.

However some of the folly coming from the libertarian party, of which I used to be a member is just plain old tin foil fodder.

This tells me that you were banned for sure, I remember a person who was kicked out of the libertarian party or ignored and ridiculed out of the party because he wasn't a libertarian but merely a malcontent who was ignored where ever he was a hanger on previously.

I'm guessing you are CZAZ, but it could be one of the other losers. You were so forgettable that the screenname quickly faded away.

It's only a matter of time before you are booted again.

He's lying. Anyone who followed those threads knows that DD's major problem is that the laws are too vague, arbitrary, and subject to abuse. Knock it off, sink.
