I think it's the system is slow at times...we think we didn't click the button and we click again....you know like punching the elevator button thinking it'll come quicker to our floor if we do.

Working the phone banks, Antonio Banderas, Whoopie, Selma Hyack, Jack Nicholson, Happy Gilmore ( I can't think of his name right now), Halle Berry. I mean BIG STARS. Ok, right there I don't want to call. Murphy's Law says I would get a crappy celebrity that I don't like. I am not going to get Antonio Banderas. I am going to get Happy Gilmore or Whoopie.

Yes Sandra Bullock has donated a million; Rosie O donated a million with a stipulation that is for NY victims only (not Pentagon vics) and some other star donated a mere $25,000 but I forgot who it was, a female though.

Just wish the first children we had heard from would have been the ones who lost daddies and mommies....

Anyone know who the pretty woman is that is singing now. Hell, I'm old, I don't recognize any of these people, except for C. Clay.

I like Faith Hill. Her husband runs around in a Jayhawk sweatshirt.

Faith Hill, in a black suit, singing a song about faith with a black choir, Paul Schafer from the Letterman Show on the keyboards, and I think David Foster ( writes for a lot of movies and ran over Ben Vereen on the Pacific Highway) on the piano. The black choir is doing that Paul Simon ' Diamonds on the Souls of her Shoes dance.
Kelsey Grammar telling us to donate, and Al Pacino answering phones
Everyone wearing solid black.

Yes Sandra Bullock has donated a million...She is from Texas, I wouldn't doubt if deep down she is a Republican.

Not to the pentagon? Who does she think is going to defend her sorry ass. I was going to use Rosie the rivetor as a screen name, but didn't because of her. Hold me back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So where are the American flags??? I haven't seen one yet. On a serious note, is it me or is Tom Petty sounding more and more like Bob Dylan?
Springsteen's song was amazing.

Well math is not a strong point for me but if you figure there are over 6,000 victims and each left an average of 2 kids, that is a lot of money needed to take care of their education, etc. In fact, according to my math, and do correct me if I am wrong, but if you gave each family $100,000 multiply that by 6,000 and I get 600 million.

That was Faith Hill in Hillary! Hair. I liked her in long hair.
Now Tom Petty, in his " I refuse to bathe" stage of life, singing " I won't back down. "

I'm just glad there is no preaching for peace from the usually pacifist Hollywood elite. Perhaps they had to check their egos at the door.
