Hillary Panned for Sour Demeanor during Bush SpeechHockey fans at Philadelphia's Rangers-Flyers game Thursday night were so enthralled with President Bush's speech that they actually forced the cancellation of the game's third period to continue watching on the arena's Jumbotron.
But seated in the House chamber, New York Senator Hillary Clinton was rolling her eyes, looking bored and remained seated as her colleagues gave Bush one standing ovation after another.
Friday morning her disengaged demeanor was being roundly panned by talk radio hosts everywhere.
"You know why she reacted that way," WABC's Curtis Sliwa told his partner Ron Kuby."She just saw her hopes to run for president next time around go up in smoke."
Down radio dial in New York, nationally syndicated talker Don Imus was even harder on the former first lady.
"She was disgraceful," Imus told his partner Charles McCord. "She looked irritable, rolling her eyes and talking."
Imus didn't care much for Sen. Clinton's post speech comments either. "I mean, she was going out of her way to point out how she'd spent the entire week down at ground zero, which is not true, by the way. But I think we know what that's all about."
Imus then turned his ire towards Mrs. Clinton's husband. "I just thank God that he's not still the president, that's all, because we didn't have to endure the self aggrandizing display of lip-biting and head wagging and 'I love you' to some bimbo in the balcony."

And angry because the people have chosen the rescue workers as the heroes of the hour instead of their oh-so-caring Senator. And who could have guessed that the voters of New York would turn into a bunch of flag-waving patriots? Yes, these have been hard days for Hillary.

Maybe Lott spoke his own words and not those of a speech writer. I thought he spoke with emotion and honesty.

Ah...Helen Thomas, Max Waters, Mad Albright, Janet Reno, Hillary (something?). Among Democrats this is what passes for the fare sex. (That's right, "fare" as in bought and paid for.)

Lord knows, I am not a fan of Hillary Clinton. However, I thought she looked exhausted. She has in word and deed supported President Bush. Maybe, it's time we gave her the benefit of the doubt. It is possible, she is coming to terms with the fact that her husband's failed policies contributed to the 9-11 attack. I would be overcome with guilt. Also, no one is smiling much. I went to Walmart before President Bush's speech and bought my children some toys. (I am buying to help our economy) No one was smiling. It was strangely quiet: no joking, no laughing. The mood was very somber. We need to act in a unified way. Hillary is an American and that is enough for me to give her a chance.

Maybe it's time to update the old saying "there are no atheists in foxholes" to:.."There are no liberals in bombcraters" Maybe, but "there are always gungrabbers in Congress".

That nod bush gave to gore in the debate in my mind was what won the election. It totally in such a small wonderful gesture said it all,,"who is this little twerp",,it was beautiful to see. I truly think it is why he is president.

Brunhildebeast takes so many pills with vodka chasers that she was rolling her eyes involuntarily. Next thing we hear about her is that she has been hospitalized suffering from "exhaustion".
I'd like to be her nurse.

"Hillary's "It Takes A Village" to raise a child can be translated as, "It Takes A Whorehouse" to raise a child."
Just "what is it" with Chelsea? She doesn't seem to have any friends nor boyfriends. She only seems to have her dad as a "date." She NEVER speaks for herself. Her parents ALWAYS speak for her. Is she the results of being raised by the Klintoon Village? GEESH!!

Don't read if offended easily.....
My vision of bubba's future is a beer bellied , big red nose, toothless man in a trailer park with an old, dried up, over made up, ho' saying "[Big beer belch]. I wus pres'dent Yep, I wus leader of the free world. That's right baby, don't stop. Now go get yer sister."
