It is 2:00 a.m. here in Cincinnati. I have surfed across the satellite channels and have not heard a discouraging word! Even Rahm Emmanuel (!) liked it. Matthews was the most tepid.

I thought you all might get a kick out of two callers to a local call-in show today. One man is a 58 year old Vietnam Vet. He sent GWB a letter today, to wit: You were nice enough to give us a $600 tax refund. I am returning it to you PLUS my matching $600. I want you to use this $1,200 to buy an incindiary device to send to bin Laden or Saddam or anyone you deem appropriate. I can get some of my friends to do the same. I have a Bronze Star and two Purple Hearts. If you can think of something for me to do, let me know.

The next caller was a woman. She wants every man, woman and child to send $1 to GWB, then he can put a 'bounty' on bin Laden and/or Saddam. She said: For $270,000,000 I guarantee someone will hunt him down, smoke him out of the cave, and bring him back dead or alive'.

The host was a little taken aback at the thought of a bounty, saying it indicated she had little or no confidence in our military to do the job. She said: 'to the contrary, I want to save our military for the BIG STUFF'!

I just thought that was the best article. And it came from the Washington Post too. Astounding what is happening these days. I really think part of it is President Bush's campaign for civility. He was really getting made fun of by the Beltway know-it-alls, the media, and some of the congress. I really think his sincere Christian attitude has rubbed off on a lot of people there.

Let's hope so and the Washington Post/LATimes see the error of their ways and release FR and give a huge donation to JIMROB. I like dreaming-many times they come true.

Lisa Beamer was in the audience for the Address, I'm sure that's another story to be told. She's the only one who didn't speak to her husband. God is in the details. Let's Roll!

We might not see any Bush bashing but we'll see a lot of well known celebrities "eating crow" or will it be "humble pie"? Many have said some pretty harsh words. I ain't mad at 'em anymore. They've been shown for what they are-entertainers who know only how to act.

Yes, we have a gentleman, a religious man, a sensitive and loving man with class, honor and integrity as our president!

However, when men like GW put on their warrior garb and helmet, the bullies are in for real trouble! The bullies mistake those positive characteristics as a weakness until the warrior side emerges!

Miss Marple with a little help from me months ago labled GW the "Stealth President". We called him that as he got our tax rebates and other wins inspite of the press, the left wing extremists in congress and on the tv and of course the vicious loseratarians whose main focus in life was to hate GW 24/7! I guess a few of those wore out their welcome on FreeRepublic while I was on vacation when the act of war/mass murder was commited by the terrorists!

Well GW has added a few new dimensions to his effective Stealth Abilities! He is a leader who can form alliances and bring out the best of those in those alliances! Can you imagine how our service people feel with him as CIC versus the terrible x42?

Miss Marple and others who know me, know that I thank God several times each day and at night that GW is our president! This past week has reconfirmed the faith of his believers and supporters! More important is that millions of Americans now see what we have seen in our President all along!

Even Michael Savage was respectful today. I had stopped listening to Michael because of his losertarian/deformedee attacks on GW. I got a call this afternoon from a young conservative friend, who told me to turn on Savage and listen to him! Savage got a wake up call as our society could have collasped from last Tuesday. Savage knows that if Goron had been president, we would become a third world country on 9/11/2001!

President Bush has his war to help manage and the country and free world to lead. We have a cultural war with the left wing extremists as they implode like Maher, Jennings, Rather, and all of the commie/socialists at our universities who hate GW, America and Americans like us. We must smash these bastards with our emails, faxes, phone calls and by using our $'s as weapons. Many like Maher have been knee capped after they have made their vile remarks. That is our war, and we must fight this cultural war and win it for America!

Hopefully Michael Savage is right about the liberals. I know that liberalism did not die on 9/11/2001. What happened is a lot Americans got a severe wake up call that left wing extremist agendas can kill and destroy Americans. Now that they are awake, we need to help kill this disease that kills innocents via the left wing extremists' agendas and mantras of hate! Maher has learned real quick as he slides into the liberal cesspool to become a putrid memory! We need to push more liberals as they implode down that cesspool! Possum Crystal can slide down into that cesspool to be with his left wing buddies who hate GW!

Thank you lord, for giving us President GW Bush during this murderous attack on our innocent by the mass murders claiming to be religious!

I just watched it on MSNBC..WOW. It was powerful on the radio as no distractions but watching that wonderful man..I am almost speechless.

The black pantsuit was stoned.

I swear as President Bush was shaking hands with the Justices, he winked at her and she was gone.

I did too.

He was making me so mad with his rants about President Bush. Apparently he may have made lots of people mad cuz they moved him from 7pm to 10pm here on KVI and put Sean Hannity on instead.

Swede Girl, I will never get over that we had the Clintons . God is giving America another chance.Thank God for Bush and Cheney. So Glad you are here.

And I am so glad you are here, Snow Bunny. So many of your posts say exactly what I am thinking and how I feel about so many things.

From the first second that Clinton won the election until the last second when Dubya was sworn in I believe I was in a state of ongoing depression, anger, anxiety, disgust.....you name it. He was not fit for office and I thought I was alone in my anger and frustration over everything that occurred with him. I couldn't believe that people would ever vote for the likes of him and then back him up every time he did something!

When I found FreeRepublic, it was as if I had found a psychiatrist with whom I could rant and rave about my frustration. And, best of all...I found people like you who thought as I did!

The rest is history, and here we are having just watched our wonderful new president make the speech of his life. All I know is that I appreciate him all the more because of the long 8 years of the Clinton regime.

And, I am so thankful to have found FreeRepublic and terrific patriots like you! May God bless us all at this time and may he guide our beloved new president through the next months and years as he takes on the challenges ahead.

To: swheats, all
I was so disappointed when I couldn't get FR to load after the speech. Nothing on the net worked, so I went to bed. Must be the new cable modem on a line being too heavily used in my neighborhood.

Hillary was disgusting. She was clearly mad that Bush was getting so many standing o's. I bet she was thinking "we demonized his father when it seemed he couldn't be beaten after the Gulf War, and we can do it again." It's really going to get nasty now. Hopefully Americans saw her disgusting behavior tonight, but I think only Fox panned to her from the sound of it on other threads.

I nominate Lisa Beamer for Honorary Guuild member. What a brave and gracious lady! Her husband, Todd, would have been proud of her tonight.

Lisa Beamer, widow of Todd Beamer, who died on United Airline Flight 93 that crashed in
Pennsylvnia is applauded on Capitol Hill Thursday, Sept. 20, 2001 after being recognized
by President Bush during his address before a joint session of Congress.

I have been looking for pics of Hillary to no avail... but TexRef found videos!

Hitlery's antics and the Chucky slap-fest

Here's just one.

Hitlery #2
Hitlery #2 (0:04) [0.9MB]

This was after Bush said: "Terror, unanswered, can not only bring down buildings, it can threaten the stability of legitimate governments. And we will not allow it."

Morning WImom, in a Post to you,
... on C-Span (I watched it before on Fox), and surprise surprise. Not one single shot of Hillary, not a single one.

Last night Fox showed here several times, but she sure looked rag tag, and unenthusiastic.
Wouldn't you relish a race between her and Rudy for sentate '06?
As Georgian, (don't know if it was on your telecasts) I was very proud of comments by our Dem. Zell Miller--"...I'd followed this leader to hell and back!"

Bush hit all the right notes last night,

But

Do any of you have reservations about giving up liberty for safety, ??
or of bailing out airlines? on this note I would like to say that a girlfriend of mine, (wife of retired Delta pilot) was incensed because she thinks rather that more taxpayer funding, they should use the fund that the airlines put all those air taxes into. She says it is many millions large and they should use this fund rather than impose more taxpayer dollars???

Nitpicking aside, sure liked his strong stance against Taliban

Morning Lynne, how DID you get that pic up so fast?!
However, on my browser, just too small to see how really bad she looked.

Good on you for pic, did you pick that up from the TV?

Attractive, she is not. ;)

MI, you are an outstanding judge of female flesh!!!

Well being single, I can stand in the gardens and appreciate all the fresh blossoms that the world has to offer. Haven't yet found the right one to take home yet. ;)

And I attribute the First Bitch's decline to a number of factors. First and foremost, she has just seen her Presidential ambitions go up in smoke. George W. Bush is going to be there for the full 8 years.

Second, there is a deeper reason - what we do in life, who we are, does leave its mark. Hers has been a life of blind ambition and pure malice - this is starting to make itself evident in her face, the face of an evil, bad-tempered harpy.

Best Regards, Ivan

Well I'm afraid she would have to be as far to the right as me. I am afraid no such woman exists. No one is as right wing as me. ;)
