I know I'll be flamed for this, but here goes...I really hope we don't keep gloating. This is not the time. We should be thankful that the series of events has led to the right Man at the right time and the rest will fall in place. The libs are falling in and so should we. We are, as Bush reminded us, The United States of America.

You're right, Hildy. God's hand has been there all through the campaign and the awful election aftermath. Even Dubya's (used to be from Texas and mean Dubya affectionately) two trips to Europe, that were reported as such disasters, developed friendships with European leaders that we need now. Did anyone else pick up on Chirac (sp? French President) calling him Jorge?
We need to trust in President Bush, he will do the right thing. God didn't bring him all this way to drop him now. There will be setbacks and at times we will be disheartened but we must stay the course and trust that our leaders know a little bit more about what is going on than we do.
