PROUD!!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!
I had to quit reading everyone's comments and come find you guys so I could share the glee!! How wonderful!
My friend who does not have cable called and she watched this on NBC. They called this speech "Churchilian."
We were right! We were right! Neener, neener, neener to all who mocked him from a
PROUD BUSHIE!!
LOL !!!!! Hi Buddy..........long time, no see.
He addressed Senate "President Pro Temporary" Byrd. I know it was just a slip and he didn't mean it, but it was a bit of a chuckle.
Having said that, the callers on C-SPAN after the speech were totally and completely stunning. At least two democrats called in say President Bush and his speech changed them completely. One said she is no longer a democrat or a republican, but an American. Another said she was inspired. Awesome.
You know what friend, if you didn't see what the rest of us saw, then you are blind. Shake the cobwebs out of your eyes, we have a real leader....one who speaks from Christians ideas of firmness, resoluteness, and yes, compassion.
It's a wave about to break, and nothing can stop it.
You see, we aren't the people that CNN would have you believe......for a seemingly intelligent fellow, you fell right into their trap.
Bush's speech was more reminiscent of the other Roosevelt's very short speech: "Pedicaris alive, or El-Rasaouli dead."
The speech by President Bush this evening was magnificent in every respect, every cadence and regard.
From his introduction of Mrs. Beamer he was filled with certainty that transmitted easily.
The shot of Hillary wise-cracking to Schumer was a priceless snapshot of a jabberwockey whore--never forget that it was GOD BLESS YOU BARBARA OLSON who effing nailed Hillary for her sealed Wellesley thesis being a paean to Saul Alinsky radical counselling TELL ANY LIE FOR POWER.
We are in the right place at the right time with the right president and God is busy blessing America.
. . .kleenex. . .
Fist waving at Osama--bring on megatonnage and many holy SEAL teams.
I thought the speech was great. I hope we follow through.
Are you that reading impaired?
PROUD BUSHIE!!
ME TOO, ME TOO, MISS MARPLE!!!!!!!
The only thing I can add is.....................Nya, nya, nya, boo, boo!!!!!!!!!!!
Even from a distance, she makes one shudder from the cold.
WE FINALLY HAVE A LEADER!!!!!!!!!!! LET'S ROLL!
Let me tell you something else, SO.........I can see by your comment that the speech was inspired. Because it was.
All I'll ask at this point is that you take a real hard look at who you think your enemies are.......you may learn something. Vice versa.
I thought one essential thing about it was how clear it was. It isn't easy to communicate all that he got across in 40 minutes. He not only inspired us, but he told us where we are going and why in a way that the vast majority of Americans can and will understand.
I too couldn't help thinking about poor Al Gore. I think he would try to do the right thing, but I don't think he would know how. "We will bring the full sanctions of the Dingell-Norwood act to bear on these villains. I will fight for you!"
Focus. That is what has impressed me so much about Bush since the 11th. The kind of focus that you only get when you know who you are and aren't trying to impress anybody.
Or, what's the same thing, he's the Un-Clinton.
She looked terrified! She loves George. She'a afraid for his life. She sees Islamic terrorists as well as Hillary aming weapons at him.
She knows his job is very difficult right now.
She's a good wife.
The best speech I have ever listened to.
It inspired. It summed up an almost imposible situation with elequence.
I think years from now we will be refering to this as "The Speech."
For eight years I have been turning off the TV when the president came on. I have tried explaining to my children that the Presidency is worthy of respect even if the President is not.
Tonight I was proud to have my son listen to President Bush. Tonight we got to see how great the office of President of the United States is. Eight years of slime was put behind us tonight. We are proud Americans again.
WOW!!!
