Well those of us in big cities encounter people of middle eastern origin quite often. Not only do they work with us in our offices but they also provide services and businesses that we use everyday. This is a trying time in this country for those that are from the Middle Eastern families who are loyal native Americans and immigrants that have followed our immigration laws to be in this country. We should be respectful that not everyone that believes in Allah wants to kill the American way.

The comment that they must all work at 7-11 is a complete insult to all Middle Easterners. Most that I know in my life are doing quite well in white collar jobs.

The point is that some (thousands) NON-AMERICAN arabs are here on student visas, green cards, etc. And I don't consider it bigotry to point that out. Be careful.

I know. Before I retired and became a hermit, I had an Iranian engineer, Vahid Eshraghi, working for me. He was hell on women but a pretty good engineer.

Just sticking up for all the "good" guys. I have met a ton of really nice Muslems, Sikh's and Hindu's where I live. Dont' want to see any group stereotyped. I think it is going to be rough for people visiting here, and rightly so under these circumstances. We must put America first. But I just don't want innocent people who immigrated here to be harrassed. I hope you understand where I'm coming from better. Cautious, but careful to not harm my fellow Americans who love this country too.

I admit my blood boils when I hear of someone saying they cannot pledge allegance to our flag. Or that we shouldn't be flying one, etc. They need to study our history better, to understand HOW MANY young men and women have died for their right to live in this country, the very country that FLY's that flag as a reminder of all the lives sacrificed so that Americans could live in Freedom. So please don't get my intention wrong. I just don't want to see innocent Americans harmed or harrassed.

Nabil Al-Marabh, 34, was arrested Wednesday night in suburban Justice by police and FBI agents, FBI spokeswoman Mary Muha said.

Police and FBI agents stormed a Burbank [IL] convenience store and nabbed a man who could provide clues to untangle the network of terror shrouding the nation since the suicide attacks last week, authorities said Thursday.

Nabil al Marabh, 34, a possible associate of Osama bin Laden, was working at the store--for $5 an hour.
