Now things are beginning to make more sense!
Thanks for posting a very important article!
WE are not dummies, and, Bush is no dummie; he's made it plain that his administration will not disclose it's plans nor its intelligence information to our blabbing media!
You give the feds too much credit. I don't believe they've got the brains to figure out who did this. We do know who the terrorists are. Root 'em out. Get the information we need to further that cause by any means necessary, then kill 'em!
What we CANNOT do is allow the Socialists and Communists in the Republican and Democratic Parties to implement their anti-freedom, anti-Bill of Rights national I.D. schemes.
I wish death to all terrorists and I don't give a rat's ass if they are Americans in government or terrorists overseas!
The Republicans and Democrats are falling all over themselves to see who can be first to destroy individual liberties. Screw 'em!!!!!

As the Sec of Defense said, we don't need a police state.
I would suggest that your anti-government rant, though no doubt well intended, is poorly timed. Your sentiments are those of a citizen in a nation at peace with the world, those days are gone for a time. When they return, be ready to fire away.
God Bless America is absolutely right!
Understand your view. Please understand mine.
I support our troops. I support the President's efforts to find and prosecute these terrorist animals, but now is exactly the time to start sounding the warning bells.
There will be plenty of people who will just go along with this, thinking that they are being patriots, or some such nonsense.
Now is the time that Congress is trying to destroy our Bill of Rights (always, always for the sake of national security). Now is the very best time (crisis) that they are likely to get it. Now is the time to fight back!
Don't you know that I would wait until after this is over to protest, if I thought it could wait? I do care about our troops. I do love my country.
You watch, once these laws are in place, they'll NEVER be undone.
These dispicable people in Congress have used this terrorist act as an orgie of socialist propagation. The blood of the WTC victims is on their hands.
Far from exonerating OBL, the article indicates that his second-in-command was one of two terrorist directing the operation. That puts OBL right in the middle of it even if he wasn't the only financier and sponsor of the operation.
Your cynicism regarding the hearfelt, patriotic feelings of loyal Americans is duly noted.

Osama couldn't have said it better himself. Come on, what country are you really in.
Don't you know that I would wait until after this is over to protest, if I thought it could wait?
Trust me, you can wait.
I do care about our troops. I do love my country.
If true, which I have to doubt considering all you have said so far, try and show it by stowing your cynicism and anti-gov't feelings for the duration. If you continue on the course you are on, you are only helping the enemy.
The blood of the WTC victims is on their hands.
Wrong, the blood is on the hands of the perpetrators, who are currently roasting in he11, and on the hands of those nations that support and harbor them. Don't fall for the tripe the enemies of America have foisted on us for so long, that America is the great satan.
If we're not fighting for our Constitutional Ideals, then what good is the Oath the Congress has taken?
We are fighting for our Country and our Constitutional ideals. If we don't defend ourselves, our Constitution won't be worth the paper it is written on.
