September 19, 2001 -- THIS really isn't the moment to hate America, but not to worry - the hate-America crowd is still right there, still dripping with contempt for the nation's politics, its leaders, its economic system and for their foolish fellow citizens.

And one day, perhaps, they will awaken from their moral slumber and see the truth.

Don't hold your breath.

In Ft. Myers, Florida, The Florida Gulf Coast University library has banned the display and or wearing the American flag and other patriotic symbols, because the librarian believes that it might "offend" foreign students. Let the reaction begin!

Ping.

Will their views dominate the public discourse in the end, I wonder.

"....And behind that list reside the bodies of literally hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of innocents, most of them children, whose lives we have taken without any pretense to justice."

Wow...

I bet the libs could justify Hitler or Pol Pot, given the opportunity. They've already justified Stalin.

Here in Huntsville Alabama, we have met the enemy and it is...Jerry Falwell. At least the "Huntsville Times" thinks so. To the Times Falwell is as evil as Usama Bin Laden. Well, Falwell never sent anyone to kill anyone. But they still equate him with terrorist monsters. I expect that any day they will be demanding an invasion of Liberty University. Call it a "J-School Jihad". Our news media can spend 25 years undermining our intelligence agencies and then demand to know why they failed to prevent the terrorist attacks. Dan Rather sheds a few tears on national television and we are to forget his and his colleagues' continuous tearing down of this country. We live in a time when our self-proclaimed moral leaders in the news media can't tell the difference between a monster and a foolish clown. I am fed up with the moral relativism of these characters and will shortly be cancelling my subscription to the Times. I have had enough of them.

The libs were all too happy to support Hitler- when their hero Stalin still had a pact with him. If Hitler had stayed out of Russia and kept the pact, they would be singing his praises even today.

Then they would have to justify the concentration camps.

We should not be fooled into believing this is one big happy family. The "Hate America" crowd is just keeping their heads down right now. We still have a HUGE pack of traitors in our midst.

The U of W sees fit to respond to the attack with a "National Tragedy" web page. Tell them how much you appreciate Joel's comments: comments@news.wisc.edu

Live in Madison, WI & see these misguided characters lurking all over the downtown area, spouting their vitriolic message that this country is the source of all woe in the world.

These loonies, 'students' and 'student-ey' types (university-college hangers-on that never venture off campus and out into the real world) are always ready to prescribe what everyone else should do without. But, the elites, u-dub functionaries that I've engaged in conversations never think that they should be denied one single perk that they are so ready to wrest from everyone else!

Its virtually useless to talk to them, so conditioned are they by this bizarre, self-destructive brain-bilge.

Thanks for the ping. I don't think so, not this time. Some students are ready to lynch their professors.

It's only America, whose hands they always want to tie, never her enemies. These people are not pacifists, they are traitors.
